Blue Bolt, a Polish technology company that develops proprietary devices and software for managing common areas of buildings, has completed about 70 new projects in 2025, an increase of more than 21 percent over the previous year. That's more than the growth projections for the global PropTech segment, estimated at 10-17 percent per year. Blue Bolt, however, has much bigger ambitions, and next year it wants to get back on track with the more than 100 percent growth rate it recorded in previous years.

Blue Bolt's solutions are used today by leaders in the office and residential real estate market, and the system already serves 80,000 users in more than 400 projects in Poland and abroad. The global PropTech market, according to a report by Global Industry Analysts, which was estimated to be worth $42.1 billion in 2024, is expected to reach $104.0 billion by 2030, growing at an annual rate of 16.3%[1]. In contrast, according to Grand View Research, the size of the global access control market was estimated at $10.76 billion in 2024, and is expected to grow at an annual rate of 8.4% through 2030[2].
The market for technological solutions is growing rapidly, but there are distinct changes taking place in the market. After a dynamic growth phase, when many new solutions appeared, it can be clearly seen that a review of the usefulness of the tools present on the market is underway. Many of the novelties offered by IT companies, have failed to live up to the hopes placed in them, and customers today are taking a much more conscious approach to their choices and business decisions in the field of technology, which is increasingly evaluated through the prism of the ratio of total costs to the benefits generated. This is where we see our advantages - as always, we want to deliver real benefit and value to our users and customers. This allows us to look more calmly at development in the long term. We are confident that we can play an important role in this process, as we stand behind us with hard statistics confirming the widespread use of our solutions in individual facilities. At the same time, the use of solutions that Blue Bolt offers is becoming a standard, expected by users of both office and residential buildings. Here we can see a clear change from previous years," says Maciej Grabowski, founder of Blue Bolt .

As Blue Bolt reports, the growth in the number of users of the platform in 2025 was 47%, with a 55% increase in the number of so-called openings, i.e. the use of the app to open doors or provide access to rooms. The use of additional options, such as integration with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, where the increase in openings was 148%, is also growing. This shows the readiness of the market and users for new solutions based on increasingly advanced smartphone features. As a result, new and expanded capabilities in functions such as room reservations, parking management and seat sharing, and communications were systematically put at users' disposal. Recently, the company has also introduced integrated control of saunas, which provides new possibilities for managing common areas that have fitness zones, the popularity of which has been growing recently. The anonymization of accesses has also been appreciated, allowing administrators to simplify issues related to RODO.
The Blue Bolt application is being developed all the time, and in the past year we have focused especially on integration with external systems, increasing the range of possibilities for using our platform. We are also seeing increasing demand for all kinds of application personalization by our partners who want to differentiate themselves by offering unique features within the Blue Bolt platform. In addition, we are expanding the app's administrative functionality to provide more convenience for those managing shared spaces. Here it is worth mentioning, for example, the development of access management capabilities for facility visitors, with the option to integrate in Google Wallet and Apple Wallet. - Mikolaj Jedryczka, chief operating officer at Blue Bolt, adds .
In both residential developments and office complexes, we are seeing more and more clearly how the expectations of the new generation are changing, regarding the level of convenience, easy access, flexibility and use of technology. Blue Bolt is responding to these needs by allowing users to move around the facilities without plastic cards, remote controls or keys, while at the same time combining all the expected amenities associated with this, and enabling managers to have greater control over security while respecting privacy and complying with RODO," concludes Maciej Grabowski.

Today, the company works with real estate market leaders in Poland and Europe, who appreciate the ability to quickly and non-invasively implement a platform that makes life easier for users and resource management for building administrators.
