Designing a playground requires selecting equipment and properly laying out the site, but the way the space is planned, the needs of users, and awareness of the most common mistakes made as early as the ordering stage are also important.
Buglo, a playground manufacturer, wants to ensure that those responsible for creating recreational spaces are up to date on the most important information regarding playground design and safety.
On Thursday, November 5, a webinar dedicated to these very topics will take place.

Safety and the Changes Ahead for Designers
The first part of the session will be led by Dominik Berliński, founder of the Playground Inspection Center. He will discuss what to keep in mind when designing a safe playground in 2027 and will outline the most important issues related to requirements and changes that may be relevant for future projects.
Mistakes Sometimes Begin Before the Design Phase
The program also includes a discussion on mistakes made by clients when creating play spaces.
Sandra Wołkowiecka, Space Development Project Manager, will present the three most common ones. This is a practical look at the process, particularly important for those involved in preparing investments, bid specifications, and guidelines for future spaces.
Can a playground that complies with standards still be interesting?
The final topic addresses an issue that frequently arises when designing playgrounds: how to balance safety requirements with an attractive, well-designed space.
Joanna Lech, a landscape architect, will present five proposals for Buglo playgrounds, which are intended to serve as examples of how to approach play spaces within the context of contemporary, attractive design.
Useful knowledge for future projects
This webinar was designed for people who design, commission, or help create recreational spaces. In this way, Buglo aims to help its partners stay up to date on topics that may be relevant when planning future projects. The session will also provide an opportunity to ask questions of the experts.
