The most visible work is currently underway at the park's ponds. Contractors have removed 13,000 sqm of concrete from the main reservoir. The reservoir is currently being profiled, and drainage pipes are being laid at the bottom. Concreting of the small reservoirs as planned is nearing completion. Work is underway to give them a new shape. As part of the upgrades, a new natural water system with zones of reed vegetation will be created in the park.

Work is also underway on part of the so-called Great Glade, the area after the former MPO base. Hills and basins are being formed, which will serve as rain gardens, and the area is being prepared for the construction of a wooden platform meandering among the greenery. Ultimately, a biocenotic garden will be created here, that is, a place where nature will function independently.

Advanced work is also underway on the central fountain, located on Armii Ludowej Avenue. Some of the paving stones will be demolished and replaced with an attractive stone surface, and a new basin with sprinklers will be created in the southern part of the fountain, as well as new seats, referring in style to the other furniture in the park

The construction work in Pole Mokotowskie Park is being carried out by the Warsaw Greenery Management Board with a view to protecting the nature that exists there. Vegetation has been protected by creating fenced-off green zones, where vehicular and pedestrian traffic is prohibited. A replacement reservoir has been created for amphibians previously living in the pond to be deconstructed, providing shelter and a place to breed. Naturalist supervision is also being carried out during the project.

Finnish cottages

As part of the work, the Finnish c ottages, which are located in the Park, will also be renovated. A Reportage Center will be created in them, and we write more about the project in an article dedicated to this topic .
