Urban planning and transportation are the two pillars of a city. How to design urban transportation in a sustainable way? Is it possible to combine modern, sustainable transportation infrastructure with respect for the city's architectural heritage? How to promote micromobility, prototype innovative solutions and recognize the needs of residents, and where to design transfer terminals? These and many other issues related to urban planning and communication are discussed with Agata Wojda, Mayor of the City of Kielce and a panelist at the New Mobility Congress by Przemek Ciępka.

The New Mobility Congress will be held at the International Congress Center in Katowice on September 23-25, 2025. In addition to numerous thematic tracks, including the Urban Innovation track curated by Filip Springer, the New Mobility Congress will award prizes in the HUB it!- HUB it!, aimed at those studying architecture and related fields. Agata Wojda, in addition to being a panelist at the New Mobility Congress, is also a member of the competition's chapter. What do you need to prepare to participate in the competition?

The competition task is to design a transfer terminal, located in one of the Polish agglomerations. The terminal is to serve as the last transfer station for urban micromobility means - for example, bicycles or scooters, allowing not only the change of means of transport, but also its storage, charging or maintenance. Where could such a terminal be located? Participants in the contest are tasked with proposing a location in one of the zones in Polish agglomerations. Although the criterion is very broad, you can look for inspiration in an interview with Agata Wojda, who suggests several locations in Kielce alone. Listen to the end!
