what is a showroom?

Showroom is a showroom used for displaying and selling goods, especially fashion assortment (clothing, shoes, accessories, watches, jewelry), vehicles (most often cars and motorcycles) or products from home & living category (furniture, decorative items), but not only. What distinguishes it from a store - in the visual layer - is the aesthetics of the interior design and the size of the space it occupies. The models of stocking and policy of conducted sales are also different in them. In another sense, showrooms are places where individual pieces from collections are presented to potential wholesale buyers.

first showrooms and contemporary showrooms

Among the first showrooms, the most numerous group were those in the fashion segment. Currently, pop-up showrooms are becoming more common. In turn, in cities with the status of fashion capitals, in which international fairs are organized, the market of showrooms for rent is developing.
