Mascot International,
designed by C.F. Møller Architects
A new headquarters and logistics center for Mascot International, one of Europe's leading workwear manufacturers, has been built on a vast undeveloped plot of land in Pårup, Denmark. The building's design, by Danish studio C.F. Møller Architects, is characterized by a dynamically tapering form that integrates with its surroundings, providing a distinct focal point in the landscape.

Architectural accents - triangular indentation and narrowing
as dynamic elements
The building was built on the plan of a rectangular trapezoid, with one arm set at right angles to the bases. Along one of the longer edges there is a triangular indentation, which makes one of the elevations look as if the block is divided into two separate parts. The building reaches its greatest height at the point of the indentation, after which its form narrows, which introduces a dynamic effect in the shape of the building.

Glazed facade with panoramic views:
integration with the environment and access to interior spaces
The building'smain facade faces the highway connecting the cities of Silkeborg and Herning in Denmark. The glazed wall is enhanced with horizontal slats of different widths in black. This layout allows outsiders a partial view of the building's interior, including spaces such as offices, an auditorium and a gymnasium. The top floor features a garden that offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

garden with water reservoirs
- natural integration with the surroundings
A garden with water reservoirs was designed at the main entrance to serve as rainwater retention. The tanks reflect the body of the building, creating mirror-like effects in the water, which naturally accentuates the entrance and blends in with the architecture of the building.

central atrium - a space conducive to
collaboration and efficiency
The interior was designed around a central atrium that runs through the entire body of the building, creating a space conducive to collaboration between the company's various departments. Spacious and open room layouts, with numerous staircases, combine administrative and logistical functions to support efficient work organization.
