Lifts

A building equipped with an elevator is accessible to every resident and visitor regardless of health or fitness level. elevators in residential buildings are installed for the comfort of residents and to increase the attractiveness of the property. In contrast, elevators in commercial and public buildings are among the mandatory equipment. Passenger elevators, freight elevators, car elevators, building elevators and hospital elevators differ in such parameters as load capacity, speed, dimensions and type of drive. However, in each variant, they must meet the highest safety standards and be reliable.

Heart of the elevator: hydraulic and electric drive

.

The smooth operation of any elevator is determined by the drive, which is the motor that sets the elevator mechanism in motion. The main types of drives in elevators are hydraulic or electric mechanism. In hydraulic elevators, the advantage is that the drive unit is located at the bottom of the shaft. This allows its design to be lighter and ideally suited to the dimensions of the elevator. This ensures optimal use of space even in small buildings. Hydraulic drives are also recommended for residential buildings because of other advantages: quiet operation mechanism, simple design and low operating costs.

If, however, you are looking for an efficient elevator with a high lifting capacity (from 300 to 1000 kg), opt for an electric-powered elevator. This type of mechanism is characterized by high precision control and lifting speed (up to 1 m/s). Electric elevators are installed in newly constructed and already standing buildings with a height of 17-35 m.

Lifts for residential and commercial buildings

.

Any type of elevator should meet strict safety standards and fire regulations. It is worth opting for products from reputable manufacturers that provide a warranty and full service support throughout the life of the lift.

Lifts for private homes should have a lifting capacity of 250-400 kg (3-5 people), while in blocks of flats and high-rise buildings this range can reach up to 1000 kg. The dimensions of the elevator must be suitable for transporting baby carriages and wheelchairs, as well as bicycles. An important parameter here is a simple and effective safety system: in the event of a breakdown or power failure, the resident should be able to get help quickly.

.

Lifts in commercial buildings tend to be larger in size, and their mechanisms are optimized for high efficiency and energy savings. Passenger lifts in public buildings can open in a two-way system, while those in premium buildings can be equipped with LCD screens or a sound system.

The equipment of any type of elevator can be customized: the installation of a mirror, handrail or lighting is a matter of individual customer preference.
