Boilers and heaters

.

Boilers and heaters are devices that provide heat and domestic hot water in homes and apartments. On the market there are different types of boilers and heaterswhich differ in the way they work, type of energy used, power, efficiency and price.

Types of water heaters

.

Water heaters are devices that are used to raise the temperature of cold water to a desired level.

Water heaters can be divided into two main types:capacity and instantaneous.capacity heaters collect water in a tankand heat it to a set temperature and then maintain it at a constant level. Instantaneous water heaters work a little differently - they heat water on the fly and at the moment of consumption, without accumulating it in a tank. Water heaters can be powered by various energy sources, such as gas, electricity, solar or biomass. Choosing the type of water heaterdepends on a number of factorssuch as hot water needs, availability and space to spare, and budget.

Types of heating boilers

Heat boilersare devices that are used to generate heat for heating rooms and domestic water.Heat boilers can be divided into several main types, depending on the type of fuel, combustion method and technology used. Here are the most common types of heating boilers:

.
  • Gas boilers These are boilers that most often burn natural gas. Gas boilers are easy to operate, clean and efficient. Gas boilers can be traditional or condensing. Traditional boilers use the heat of the flame to heat water, and discharge the flue gases through the chimney. Condensing boilersuse the additional heat contained in the flue gases, which condense in a heat exchanger, increasing the efficiency of the boiler.
  • Electric boilers - are boilers that use electricity to heat water. Electric boilers are quiet, safe and do not need a chimney to operate. Electric boilers can be either capacity or flow-through.
  • Solid fuel boilers - are boilers that burn solid fuels such as coal, wood, pellets, briquettes, peat or agricultural waste. Such devices are expensive to operate, but require frequent fuel loadingand ash removal. Solid fuel boilers can be traditional or feeder.
  • .
  • Liquid fuel boilers - that is, those that burn liquid fuels - such as oil. Liquid fuel boilers are readily available and versatile, but require adequate fuel storage. These types of boilers can be single-function or dual-function.
