Instantaneous e-water heaters are on a roll!

In new buildings and renovations, more and more investors are looking for an energy-efficient hot water supply system. Special flow-through e-water heaters for bathrooms, sinks and kitchens heat water directly where it is needed. Space heating is separated from the hot water supply.
The energy demand for space heating is steadily decreasing. At the same time, the energy balance requirements for new buildings are becoming more stringent. Therefore, more and more attention is being paid to the energy-efficient supply of domestic hot water.

Central or decentralized?

The water is often heated to a high temperature of about 65° in a central tank and fed to the corresponding consumption points. In the process, more water is heated than is actually needed. The water temperature is lowered at the point of use to the correct temperature. With long pipelines, it usually takes some time before hot water flows from the tap.
Energy losses in a central hot water preparation system consist of losses due to circulation, distribution, commissioning and water storage. In a single-family home, these losses amount to at least 40% of the total energy demand. On top of that, investment costs are higher compared to a decentralized solution.

In decentralized systems, hot water is separated from the heating system. Flow-through e-water heaters are installed directly at the point of water intake. Circulation and storage losses are eliminated because water is not preheated and stored in large quantities. Distribution, start-up and system losses are only 3% of the energy demand, which means that hot water supply with instantaneous e-heaters is an energy-saving system with high efficiency.

Heat water according to demand and save operating costs!

For each application(kitchen, bathroom or washbasin), there is a suitable device that optimally meets the requirements at the point of use:

Washbasin

It takes us less than 10 seconds to wash our hands! With such a short time of use, it is necessary to immediately obtain the right temperature within 35°C. This process should be efficient, effective and pleasant. For this purpose, small CLAGE e-heaters, giving a flow rate in the range of 2 l/minute, are sufficient.
Here we have a wide choice from hydraulically (MBH, P-MPH, M) or electronically (MCX) controlled devices, with pressurized or non-pressurized design, complete with or without a faucet. Low connection powers allow safe and low-cost operation.
The top-of-the-line device among small e-heaters is the MCX model, which convinces with the best functionality and sophisticated design. Power consumption is automatically regulated by the electronic system, which ensures ideal water temperature and no need to admix cold water. A convenient control panel allows you to select the temperature at 35°C, 38°C or a maximum of 45°C.

Kitchen

If the dishwasher can't handle a saucepan or frying pan, then we have to use hot water in the sink. Here, however, we expect higher temperatures: 48° at a flow rate of about 5 l/min. With compact e-heaters, you can get the right temperature at the touch of a button. The small size saves valuable space under the sink and the ease of installation is an added advantage. In the series of devices with connection powers between 11 and 13.5 kW, we have a choice of purely electronically controlled models. They are adapted to work with any faucet.
The standout model in the series of compact e-heaters is the CFX-U, where the desired temperature is selected on a remote control located directly at the sink.

Shower and bathroom

The average shower takes 3-5 minutes, although the process seems much longer. Expected temperatures are 38-42°C with a higher water flow between 8 and 10 l/min. Comfort in a modern wellness bathroom is ensured by the latest generation of D series devices. These fully electronic devices combine high hot water comfort with energy efficiency.

A model that meets the highest expectations of users is the DSX Touch, whose design allows it to turn on at a very low flow rate of about 1.5 l/min. In addition, a convenient remote control allows operation in a building up to 10 m from the unit. An attractive touchscreen display made of real glass allows simple querying of operating and consumption parameters and allows setting individual user profiles, defining savings targets, establishing individual needs and better overview of costs.

Application

Decentralized hot water supply with instantaneous e-heaters enables energy savings, comfort and hygiene. Billing of operating costs based on consumption is also a great advantage in residential construction.
