Results of voting for the Audience Award - "Best Diploma ARCHITECTURE 2023".

We have completed voting for the Audience Award - the best thesis submitted to the "Best Diploma ARCHITECTURE 2023" competition. In the online poll, the largest number of votes (1143), and thus the first place was awarded to the work of Marta Rybicka from the Faculty of Architecture, Gdansk University of Technology. The results of the jury vote will be known next week!

The final of the 12th edition of the competition organized by A&B included 32 works. From among them, the jury will soon select the winners, and the winner or winner of the first prize will have a month-long internship at Ultra Architects studio in Poznan and receive a financial prize.

In December 2023, we gave the vote to A&B readers and readers, announcing the Audience Award. For more than a month, they could vote for their favorite thesis project from the final pool. The winner was Marta Rybicka 's thesis - "Tourism in naturally valuable areas. The design of an excursion base with a system of observation posts in the Biebrza National Park" carried out at the Faculty of Architecture of Gdansk University of Technology under the supervision of Dr. Małgorzata Skrzypek-Lachińska. A total of 1143 votes were cast for the work. The prize in the public vote is a one-year subscription to the monthly magazine "Architektura&Biznes".

The next place was taken by Kamila Lorenc-Ptarsznik 's master's thesis - "Center for activation of local society - design of a sustainable and flexible building in Piaseczno" from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology (supervisor: Dr. Bartosz Dendura), receiving 971 votes.

Third place in the public vote, with 606 votes, was won by Sylwia Małkiewicz, author of the engineering thesis "Design of a kindergarten with the use of solar systems in Józefów" defended at the Higher School of Ecology and Management in Warsaw (supervisor: Dr. Janusz Marchwiński).
