The architects decided to use rustic tile from the foundation to the roof, which gave the body of the building a very modern look.

The company Dachyrustykalne from Czestochowa was invited to cooperate: a distributor of ceramic products from dozens of brick factories and a general building contractor. Dachyrustyklane company for many years, has been supplying the Polish market with ceramic and cement tiles of rustic and Mediterranean character - the French company Terreal.

Terreal clay roof tiles are classified as premium and are often chosen by architects and investors for projects of residences, villas and luxury estates based on traditional Italian, French, Spanish or English styles. However, their unique appearance makes it possible to create unique roofs or elevations, of which the "Tile House" is an excellent example.

The "Tile House" project uses French Élysée tile in the color Longchamp, produced by Terreal. The tile surrounds the body of the house from the foundation to the ridge. Thanks to this treatment, the whole building was kept in the same rustic color scheme. On the gable walls, the clay tile is cut off with a flashing in the color of the window woodwork. The front gable wall, on the other hand, is fully glazed. Looking at the house from a distance, one can see the color of the flat French tile, unique to Polish projects, which harmonizes with the graphite window treatments. Keeping a gentle distance, but without losing the view of the whole block, one can see that the roof of the house flows seamlessly into the facade.

The Élysée tile looks like a rustic plain tile, but its rectangular form adds to its modernity and interesting appearance. Hence, architects are increasingly incorporating this product into their projects. It is used in Polish projects alternating with its larger counterpart - the Terreal tile in the Giverny model.
