Work submitted for the competition
"Best Interior Diploma".
The project concerns the interior of a psychological office complex in Poznan, located on the first floor of a modern building. It was created in response to the growing mental health needs of young people, preceded by research - a survey of 3-19 year olds and interviews with psychologists. The goal was to create a welcoming, accessible and therapy-supportive space, following the principles of universal design.

The premise was to reconcile intimacy and access to natural light with maximum functionality. The facility was planned to include three offices, a waiting room with registration, sanitary and social facilities. The interiors were designed to appeal to audiences of all ages - they are visually calm, legible and provide mental comfort. The aesthetic avoids infantilism, using bright colors complemented by greens and blues, light forms, soft fabrics and flexible lighting. Plants serve both an aesthetic and therapeutic function.
The waiting room was designed with legibility and privacy in mind. Children have their own low play area integrated into the parent's space. The reception desk, which is adapted for people with disabilities, is located at the entrance and supports the technical systems. Glazed windows with plants and linen curtains help to illuminate the interiors while maintaining intimacy.

Cabinet I is the smallest, kept in bright colors, inspired by the association with a bed as a symbol of security. It has been divided into zones: conversation and play. It introduces sensory elements, such as sand for therapy and soft seating and textiles.

Cabinet II allows for individual and family therapy. Clear color divisions are used here: green in the play zone, blue in the work zone. Patients can choose their seat - from a couch to a hanging cocoon. The furniture forms a cohesive composition with a dominant round cabinet.

Cabinet III - the workshop room is a flexible space (39 sqm), used for group, movement and individual therapies. It can be divided by curtains. It is equipped with a screen, projector and mirror, among other things. Green ceilings visually warm the space.

The toilet has been adapted to the needs of children and adults - two cubicles, two sinks at different heights, a thoughtful layout with pictograms and child-friendly elements. In the washbasin area, a wall with a plant composition illuminated by LED was designed. A utility room provides facilities for cleaning.

The staffwelfare room provides daylight and tranquility. It houses a kitchenette, table and closet, maintained in a calming aesthetic.
The project's logo is based on the motif of a hand - a symbol of support and connection - and refers to data on the extent of mental problems among young people (one in three). The annex includes a mosaic of hands, some of which are "mangled" and highlighted in color, emphasizing the importance of the theme.

Material solutions are consistent: epoxy flooring with a delicate pattern, durable and hygienic paints, HDF dyed in the mass, upholstery in Aqua Clean fabric, glazed partitions in Optiwhite, linen curtains, including hidden doorframes and personalized built-ins.
The project responds to the contemporary social and emotional needs of children and adolescents. It creates a therapeutic space that supports both patients and professionals, reducing the stigma of mental health facilities.
