"Olkusz" Enamelware Factory Joint Stock Company, the heritage of the industry
At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, one of the most important enamelware factories in Poland was established in Olkusz, picturesquely located in the Jura Krakowsko-Częstochowska region. This place, which is now known for its high-quality enameled products such as cookware, pans, baking pans, mugs, bowls, bathtubs shower trays and sinks, is an industry, as well as an important museum, cultural and historical space.

The Museum of the Enamel Factory in Olkusz focuses not only on technological aspects, but also on the historical context, visitors can better understand both the rich history of the enamel industry and the tragic events related to the World War II period. The exhibitions show not only industrial heritage, but also testimony to human courage and determination in difficult times. It is also an opportunity to reflect on the value of historical memory and the importance of passing it on to future generations.
The Olkuska Enamelware Factory was founded in 1907 by Peter Westen as the "Westen" Joint Stock Company of Stamped and Enameled Products.
OFNE "Emalia" S.A. "Olkusz" is the site of the filming in Olkusz of the famous Oskar Schindler's List, a war drama directed by Steven Spielberg, the museum is a unique place to discover the history of the enamel industry in Poland and the leading edge of the enamel industry in Olkusz. The "Olkusz" complex includes a historical museum, which serves as an Education and Museum Center, and an exhibition section in the former factory halls. A modern production facility, visitors have the opportunity to see original "Olkusz" products signed with the traditional kettle logo with the letter "O" inscribed in it. It is also a distribution and commercial center with a sizable area, on the former "Factory Square" was located the largest market in the region with the same name.

Technology and modernity
With the advancement of technology and development of technology, we have expanded our production assortment to include products such as - aluminum cookware coated with Teflon coating by DuPont, stainless steel products, pressed bathtubs and pressed enamel sinks and shower trays. OFNE "Emalia" S.A. owner of the "Olkusz" brand was the first winner of the "Teraz Polska" competition, also is honored with the "Good Design" mark obtained in the design competition, nominated by the Institute of Industrial Design, awarded with such titles as "Gold Medal" in the nationwide fair, Quality Mark "1", or the Polish Product Certificate, and many other great awards.
