SAINT-GOBAIN GLASSOLUTIONS POLSKA

EGLAS glazings serve many functions. They guarantee thermal comfort, allow eco-friendly heating of the house, and are also an effective way to deal with fogged or frozen windows and snow lingering on the glass roof.

Learn about the functions of EGLAS

The anti-condensation function prevents water vapor from condensing on the surface of the window. It therefore protects it from moisture and guarantees its constant transparency and light transmission.
The heating option allows you to achieve the assumed thermal comfort inside the room. Pleasant heat is emitted from the entire surface of the glass sheet. It first heats the individual partitions and fixtures, which then give off heat directly into the room, thus ensuring the optimal temperature.
Thanks to the melting function, removing snow from a glazed roof or roof windows becomes trivial. We can forget about manually removing snow cover from hard-to-reach surfaces. An always snow-free skylight means constant access to natural daylight, even in the cold winter. The EGLAS skylight has a built-in sensor that activates the melting function as soon as it senses snow, rain when the temperature drops below +5°C.

How it works.

The principle of EGLAS is based on the use of two factors: electric current and a low-emission metal oxide coating, which is applied to one of the glass surfaces. EGLAS active glass solves the design problems of maintenance and transparency associated with evaporation or snow. EGLAS glazing is available in laminated versions in single or double glazing units.
