Gira System 70 - the new GIRA wiring accessories platform and the F100, F200, F200 flat and F300 frame series

60 years of development - from a single button to a complex system. Gira is unveiling the new Gira System 70 platform, which redefines the approach to wiring accessories design by combining modern technology, modularity and a consistent design language.

One platform - many possibilities

Gira System 70 is the answer to the growing demands of modern architecture and installation - both in new developments and modernization projects. The platform is based on the proven modular concept, develops the solutions known from the Gira System 55, and allows flexible adaptation of functions and design.

New frame series - design to match architecture

  • F200 - expressive geometry and design flexibility
    The F200 series is characterized by a linear form and a clear "shadow" line, giving it an architectural character. A key feature is full visual consistency: the standard, surface-mounted and flat versions have an identical appearance from the front which makes it possible to freely combine different variants in a single design. The result: greater design independence and aesthetic consistency of the entire installation.

  • F200 flat - minimalism in a premium version
    The flat mounting version is the answer to the needs of the most demanding projects: maximum "flush" with the wall surface, subtle, almost invisible presence of the fixture, ideal for modern, minimalist interiors.

  • F300 - minimal frame, maximum effect
    The F300 series is the most minimalist interpretation of the new system: extremely narrow frame, strong contrast between the frame and the large surface of the button, sharp, precise contours. The visual effect is based on reducing the form to the absolute minimum while maintaining functionality.
  • F100 - the foundation of the new system
    It is the F100 series, originally introduced in 1996 as a groundbreaking design project, that today forms the basis of System 70. The new platform develops its DNA, transferring it to a modern, scalable system.

System consistency and ease of design

All series within the System 70 are available in 5 colors (gloss white, matte white, matte gray, anthracite and matte black), offer flush-mounted, surface-mounted and (selected) flat versions, and can be combined in a single design.

Sustainability as standard

The new platform is part of Gira's sustainability strategy: the use of re-granulate in components, the use of materials with a reduced CO₂ footprint (e.g., in white gloss variants)

The new products will be available from September 2026 and were presented at Light + Building 2026, among other events.
