Acoustic partitions with high height

26 of December '20

The use of partitions to divide space opens up many possibilities for professional office space arrangement, both technically and aesthetically.

The H7 partition used in this project, separates rooms in a concrete building, leaving its appearance raw. Despite a very low profile of 25 mm at the floor and a height of 3 meters, the structure ensures full stability of the partition. Full-height walls were installed between the offices, with narrow glass modules separated by 30 mm mullions (Photo 2). A partial full panel in the partitions allows the placement of lower cabinets.

Passageways mounted to the G-K board structure were made of transparent H7T partition. This version of the H7 partition provides lightness and discretion by alternating panels and glazing from edge to edge, without intermediate aluminum mullions. This gives the impression of full modules floating along the entire length of the corridor (Photos 1 and 2). In this project, the glass partitions used offered users full natural daylight and visual communication between employees from different office spaces.

Offices occupied by executives had to meet the condition of complete soundproofing to ensure confidentiality of conversations. This was made possible by using H7 and H7T double-glazed partitions and combining them with the new Lineal doors, which guarantee excellent sound insulation. They are housed in an integrated frame, specially designed for the H7T wall allowing the installation of glazing without mullions.

The combination of technology and aesthetics has resulted in a successful layout that combines great height, acoustics, modern and functional finishes.
