From November 4 to 13, 2025, the building of the Wielkopolska Voivodship Office in Poznań will host a unique exhibition of works by students of the Architecture Department of the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań. Under the curatorial care and supervision of Prof. Stanislaw Sipinski and Daria Tomczak, the exhibition presents a variety of views of young artists on space, the city and nature. The exhibition was organized by the Student Scientific Circle of Architectonics, under the honorary patronage of the UAP Interdepartmental Institute of Artistic Research.
The academic coordinator of the event is student Julia Bogdan, and the poster design by Klaudia Kazik refers to the aesthetics of the Bauhaus - geometric, orderly, yet expressive.

architecture as a dialogue with space
The exhibition's slogan - "Diverse Perspectives" - perfectly reflects its character. It is a collection of works that combine artistic sensitivity with architectural thinking, showing that contemporary design is not limited to function and form, but is a reflection on the relationship between man and place.
The projects presented at the exhibition are not only the results of an educational process, but also manifestos of the young generation of female architects. Among them we will find experimental, ecological and cultural concepts - from research projects in the heart of the Amazon jungle to reinterpretations of urban icons of Poznan.

From Peru to Jeżyce - two views, one idea
One of the presented projects is "Perched - Nest of Bird Watchers," by Michal Ćwirlej, created in the Architectural Design Studio III under the supervision of Prof. Stanisław Sipiński and Daria Tomczak. It is a complex of 20 hotel cabins located in Manú National Park in Peru, created for ornithology enthusiasts. Each is a microscopic laboratory of nature, designed to protect local flora and fauna while allowing users to interact with nature in an ethical and responsible manner.

In turn, the "Rialto Interdisciplinary Center for Film and Theater Arts" project is a proposal for new life for the iconic cinema in Poznan's Jeżyce district. The author reinterpreted the historic building, preserving its cultural significance and giving it a modern form of dialogue between tradition and modernity. The new body, inspired by Art Nouveau arches, creates planes of light and shadow that, as in a theater, guide the viewer's gaze and build emotional tension.

young artists and creators, new directions
The exhibition "Diverse Perspectives" is not only a review of projects, but also a manifesto of a generation that wants to co-create a space that is sensitive, ethical and sustainable.
Each work is a separate story - about place, people and the relationship between them. A responsible approach to the environment, respect for locality and openness to experimentation are values that define contemporary thinking about architecture at UAP.
