What to look for when deciding on a door?

Most often, at the final stage of finishing a house or apartment, we begin to think about the choice of interior doors. However, it is better to carry out these analyses earlier to avoid limitations in decision-making.

The primary criterion for selection should be the quality of the door. In the wide range of interior doors on the market, it is certainly worth paying attention to their functionality and workmanship. And this is particularly emphasized by a manufacturer with Italian roots - ECLISSE POLSKA.

Eclisse has always been synonymous with modernity, attention to detail and functionality. Some time ago, the company made sure that the customer had access to a complete, innovative offer. Therefore, in the product range it has both sliding doors retracted into the wall and hidden swing doors. The only trouble for an investor making a choice of doors is to decide in which places he will use sliding doors and in which places he will use traditional opening doors.

Wherever we want to save on the space necessary to reserve for traditionally opening doors, or where there is a collision when opening a swinging door, we should opt for doors that are retractable into the wall. Their advantage is opening in the form of sliding the leaf parallel to the wall. The door retracts into the wall, thereby leaving free space along the wall, which can be used in other ways.

Eclisse offers a very wide range of different models of sliding door systems. We distinguish between classic models - which require finishing with a wooden frame, and models for minimalist rooms - frameless systems. We can also find LUCE models that allow after cable routing and installation of electrical boxes in the surface of the cassette pocket. We can easily close wide passageways with the TELESKOP system, in which two door leaves retract into a single cassette pocket when opened.

An additional advantage is that in almost all systems there is an unlimited choice of door leaves - wooden, glazed or all-glass, as well as the use of many additional accessories.

In fact, for Eclisse, there are almost no restrictions on the choice of doors when arranging a space. If the builder opts for hinged doors, Eclisse has a wide range of concealed swinging doors. However, a seemingly invisible detail of interior design is such a culminating point of the arrangement that it is extremely important to consciously make its choice, because, contrary to appearances, concealed doors are very demanding. Demanding in the sense of the selection of all elements, i.e. the frame, hardware and door leaf.

The door frame should have a properly constructed, stable aluminum profile to prevent bending and falling off the plaster at the junction with the wall during daily use.

The door leaf must be of high quality, on a solid conifer frame construction. A great convenience is a door equipped with a mechanism that allows you to adjust the plane of the leaf. It creates the possibility of adjustment even after prolonged use, where it is natural for the door to be gently deformed due to the reaction of the wooden structure to room conditions.

Fittings should be made of good quality materials. It is desirable that the hinges have the possibility of three-plane adjustment.
