A house as if from a 3D printer. Building prefabrication in the STEICO system at the service of the architect.

Comfortable, warm, economical and durable prefabricated houses. Architecture from author's blocks

With prefabrication it is possible to build durable, energy-efficient, even multi-story buildings. This method is fast and convenient, and the technology does not limit architects in any way. First, a design is created, and only on its basis in a modern factory are the individual modules from which the building will be assembled. The prefabricated system of walls, roofs and ceilings in the building system of STEICO CEE Sp. z o.o. is a perfect combination of the advantages of natural wood and modern technologies.

Prefabricated elements of a new house designed by an architect are built in a factory under strictly controlled conditions of temperature and humidity. The finished elements, after passing quality control, are transported to the construction site.

STEICO prefabricated system houses

Prefabricated products are the finished elements from which the building is assembled. They are manufactured on STEICO's digital production lines from durable LVL beams, I-beams and wood-based panels that are also used for insulation. A 100% matched element is delivered to the construction site, with no waste hauling or fabrication on site. Ready-made prefabricated elements in the STEICO building system in the form of walls, roofs and ceilings make it possible to build houses much faster, while offering investors very high living comfort and low energy consumption.

Prefabricated houses - increasingly popular in Poland

Prefabricated houses are gaining favor in our country, both among architects and investors. They guarantee a number of benefits from a technology that has evolved over the past decades, losing almost all of its negative aspects. There are no grounds for concern about the lower durability or energy efficiency of such construction. In light of the experience of Scandinavian and Western European countries (where frame house constructions account for up to several tens of percent of the market - in Scandinavia about 80% of single-family houses), we can see that this is a solution that effectively competes with classic, heavy construction technology.

Saving time

Thanks to highly automated prefabrication, houses are erected in a very short time. This is one of the many advantages of prefabrication that make this method increasingly popular in our country.

Energy savings

Starting in January 2021, all properties being erected will have to demonstrate very low energy requirements for heating/cooling. Among other things, the new regulations require thicker layers of thermal insulation materials in the walls and roof. Residential buildings in the STEICO prefabricated system have previously met the technical conditions for energy consumption, which have only now begun to take effect in Poland.

High technology backed by scientific research

STEICO has been cooperating with universities in Poland and abroad for more than 20 years, testing its products in laboratories and scientific institutes, undergoing complex certifications, but the most rigorous tests houses built with the STEICO system have passed in collision with natural weather conditions, used by many thousands of families throughout Europe.

Factory at the service of the architect

Prefabrication technology does not limit architects. It is the factory that adapts to the designer, not the other way around. First, a design is created, and based on this design, the individual modules from which the building will be assembled are designed and produced. STEICO's team of technical consultants assists architects and contractors in developing the detailed design.

At the STEICO factory, specific wall, floor and roofelements can be ordered, which will be produced according to specifications and delivered to the construction site, where all that remains is to assemble them. This is done in a fast, economical and safe manner.

Implementation with perfection planned by the architect

Prefabrication technology also minimizes the risk of mistakes made at the construction site. Full control of the entire production process, which takes place in the conditions of a modern plant, makes it possible to obtain accuracy to the millimeter, impossible to achieve in the case of masonry walls made of blocks, bricks and hollow blocks or pouring ceilings.

The components are produced according to a specific design, according to the contractor's specifications, so there is no unnecessary waste on the construction site, which optimizes costs.

STEICO experience - a guarantee of safe materials

STEICO is the world leader in the production of thermal insulation materials and environmentally friendly prefabricated elements. It is an example of a company that has achieved success at home and abroad. It has two production facilities in Poland, where it employs some 1,900 workers. With an annual turnover of PLN 1.2 billion, STEICO is the largest producer of environmentally friendly thermal insulation materials and a pioneer in the production of wood-based structural materials.

STEICOthermal insulation materials do not emit volatile substances hazardous to humanhealth and the environment, as certified by the Rosenheim Institute for Building Biology (IBR). In addition, the STEICO building system is certified by the Passive Building Institute in Darmstadt.

An entire partition from a single manufacturer

The STEICO system is a ready-made, certified solution for wall, floor and roof structures, allowing you to design and build eco-friendly buildings to energy-saving, low-energy, passive, zero-energy and even plus-energy standards.

Known for its environmentally friendly wood fiber thermal insulation materials, the STEICO Group also produces STEICO LVL laminated veneer, I-beams and fiberboard, and the STEICO sealing system completes the range. This means that you get the entire partition from construction to thermal insulation to sealing from one manufacturer. Excellent quality is STEICO's top priority.

The production capacity of the prefabrication plant in Czarnków, after the launch of the third line, makes it possible to produce finished elements for the realization of about 350 detached buildings with a floor area of about 130 m².

With STEICO, you will design and build a house that is healthy for the inhabitants, environmentally friendly, and guarantees the highest thermal comfort throughout the year.
