Silence is not just the absence of sound. It is the result of consciously shaping the acoustic environment.
In the era of multifunctional facilities, the artistry of the designer is manifested in the creation of spaces that support the smooth transition of social roles and become a safe refuge conducive to regeneration. This invisible aspect is becoming a new measure of the value of architecture today.
Advanced 3D modeling in Silencions: precise acoustic analysis allows for the elimination of nuisance noise at the concept stage

In addition to design, quality of materials or location, the real value of a building is determined by what is invisible to the eye: silence.
At Silencions Acoustics Lab, we translate the physics of sound into proprietary solutions that provide architects with design flexibility. We eliminate installation noise, making it a backdrop and allowing architecture to ring out in its purest form.
True design freedom begins where concern for noise from technical systems ends.

Acoustic safety of an investment: analysis and acoustic operative
Modern acoustic engineering makes it possible to shape the acoustics of a building even before the first wall is erected. At Silencions laboratory, this process is based on advanced computer modeling. A virtual model of the future investment is created on the basis of projections with a description of partitions, cross-sections and the Site Development Plan (PZT). A detailed analysis of the building design and sanitary installations identifies potential challenges and determines the impact of noise sources on the daily use of the space.
This approach facilitates verification of the interaction of sound waves with specific materials - concrete, glass or steel. Each analysis is supported by field measurements directly at the project site, which provides a true picture of the surroundings.
Acoustic analysis is all about design certainty. Verification for compliance with current standards and the acquired data provide the basis for replacing conservative, often oversized safety margins with precisely selected insulation parameters. This avoids "redundant" solutions, which realistically protects the investment budget and valuable facility space. Laboratory work helps identify and eliminate the risk of nuisance reverberation or resonance already at the concept stage, preventing costly and technically difficult post-construction repair work.
Interacting with acoustical engineers as early as the concept stage facilitates the optimal placement of heat pumps, chillers or air handling units. As a result, instead of forcing compromises, technology can be subordinated to the architectural vision.
Silencions Acoustic Operator:
An engineering standard for documentation
As of August 2024, an acoustic operatio is a mandatory component of engineering design in multifamily and row houses. Silencions operatives are prepared on the basis of precise measurements with certified equipment and advanced computer simulations. Documentation is created in accordance with current standards, which is conducive to the efficient implementation of the necessary procedures and obtaining a permit to use the object.

A new dimension of attenuation in ventilation and partitions: s|TWIST| acoustic attenuators.
Today's architecture strives for openness and lightness, which often entails routing utilities through building envelopes. However, any such passage has a critical impact on the sound insulation of the entire building. Traditional absorption attenuators, based on the surface mass of the material and acoustic fill, are often too massive for spaces with limited installation volume. Their dimensions force the enlargement of ductwork and lowering of ceilings, which directly interferes with the aesthetics of the interior and limits the usable area of the facility.
Ventilation attenuators s|TWIST| redefine this approach, introducing acoustic metamaterials into building engineering. With this technology, the effectiveness comes from the precisely designed internal geometry rather than the properties of the absorbing material. The solution provides noise reduction of up to 20 dB (including in the low-frequency range) with a scale unattainable by traditional systems.

Key application benefits:
- Easy installation: compact dimensions (from 30 to 150 mm) make it possible to place the silencer inside an air duct, doorway or wall opening.
- Geometry instead of mass: s|TWIST| allows recovery of insulation at a level similar to a solid, solid wall without an opening. Effectiveness confirmed by laboratory tests.
- Hygiene and durability: the absence of dusty materials (like mineral wool) makes it ideal for highly sanitary facilities - hospitals, schools or hotels. Being made of durable materials (like PA12) ensures resistance to moisture and ease of maintenance.
- Tailor-made acoustics: 3D printing technology opens the way to produce attenuators with non-standard shapes (e.g., in rectangular cross-section) and tuning to the specifics of a particular noise source.
- Modularity and scaling of attenuation: systemic design allows multiple components to be combined without rebuilding, increasing the range of attenuation (additive effect). The s|TWIST| attenuators also perfectly complement traditional acoustic solutions within a single installation.
Aesthetics of outdoor units: acoustic enclosures for heat pumps s|HP| and air conditioners s|AC|
The noise and technical appearance of outdoor units for heat pumps and air conditioners often force their location in remote parts of the plot. Silencions' proprietary housing systems - s|HP| for heat pumps and s|AC| for air conditioners - turn these units into discreet, aesthetically pleasing landscaping elements.
Enclosures s|HP| and s|AC|: effective soundproofing of outdoor units allows them to be installed closer to the property boundary, giving greater freedom in PZT planning

Key application benefits:
- Noise reduction at the source: noise reduction of up to 14 dB provides perceptible silence and tranquility in the immediate vicinity.
- Undisturbed operation of the unit: maintained optimal airflow eliminates the risk of a decrease in pump efficiency (COP).
- Customizable: the ability to choose finishes and colors (RAL palette) makes the housing an extension of the architect's vision. It harmoniously fits in with the aesthetics of modern facades and gardens.
- Protection of the unit: galvanized powder-coated sheet metal protects the unit from the weather and guarantees impeccable aesthetics for years.
- Freedom in PZT planning: a soundproof acoustic enclosure allows the units to be installed close to property boundaries or windows This solution opens up new possibilities for the development of small plots and dense buildings.
Enclosures s|AC| and s|HP|: minimalist design and color customization make it easy to match the covers with the environment
