living space in harmony with nature
The village is divided into two parts - residential and production. The residential part includes green squares walking areas and a common space conducive to the integration of residents. At the heart of the settlement is a communal house connected to a shopping plaza where goods produced in the village can be exchanged or sold. The surroundings are carefully preserved and newly planted greenery which consists of tall trees and vegetation along the watercourse. Pedestrian and bicycle paths provide a natural connection to the surroundings and lead to the transportation route by the railroad tracks and the riverbed.

The production part includes a vertical farm parking for shared electric cars animal husbandry and a seasonal orchard. Residents grow crops raise chickens geese sheep and cows, and process food for community use and external trade. The autonomy of the settlement is based on renewable energy sources solar panels and rainwater tanks. All these elements make the Connection a model example of sustainable development.

modern modular homes fostering community
The first residential development project created by Paulina Paczkowska is based on the idea of flexible space development. The residential units are designed to grow with the number of residents. Each unit consists of private modules and one common one that can be expanded. At the center is an inclusive green plaza to support the building of interpersonal relationships. The buildings are made using CLT technology, which enabled rapid construction and future expansion. The facades are covered with wooden cladding and the roofs of the common modules are ecological green spaces.

The second solution created by Amelia Wszelaki is smaller groups of houses arranged around a green square which are paired. Each pair shares a greenhouse and a courtyard, which allows for the creation of a simultaneous community and private space. This solution supports different living needs from families with children to the elderly who can live close to loved ones but with independence. The house modules can be adapted to the number of residents and the CLT design makes it easy to expand. Wooden facades conceal the drainage system for rainwater that is used to water the crops.

The Connection project is a vision of a modern estate where autonomy goes hand in hand with ecology and close human relations. Energy self-sufficiency food production and inclusive living spaces create a unique ecosystem that can become an inspiration for future urban villages across Poland. Surrounded by greenery in harmony with nature and in the spirit of cooperation, the residents of this remarkable settlement will enjoy a better quality of life and a true community.
