Many of us at least once in our lives have thought or heard the slogan - drop everything and go to the Bieszczady! However, the tempting proposal of living surrounded by picturesque mountains and nature for the architect designing there can be quite a challenge - because how to create a modern house, which at the same time will be integrated into the terrain and will not disturb the Bieszczady views?

Thehouse in the Bieszczady Mountains was designed by architects from the medusa group studio for the owner of Henniger Investment. Their common goal was to blend the block into the terrain in such a way that it would not only not negatively affect the reception of the building by locals and tourists hiking in the mountains, but also emphasize the beauty of the place.

The project site, in a planned manner and in accordance with natural processes, was to cicatrize all traces of our interference at the site, leaving on view only those elements that emphasized the redesigned tectonics of the area, the project authors write.

The house, unfenced from the road, is inscribed in the morphology of the plot, which was complemented by new tree plantings. The roof of the weatherboarded building is covered by an earth structure with sod thanks to which, as the authors of the project emphasize, the house is even more strongly inscribed in the context of the site, and its presence in the landscape - less noticeable.

The architecture hides among the greenery, so it opens up to a panorama of the overlapping Bieszczady peaks. At the same time, it does not take away this view from others. On the side of the neighbors, the house was designed to resemble a break in the hill, while on the north side it retains the character of a building that has its own scale and mass, the architects add.

The building frames the view of the Otryt, which is reflected in the glazing of the facade in places. Inside, on two floors, a private zone with a study and recreational and leisure facilities, a spa and guest rooms have been arranged.
