The design of air-conditioning systems in mixed-function buildings increasingly requires reconciling high technical performance with spatial and aesthetic constraints. In this context, multi systems are becoming a solution to reduce the interference of the installation with the architecture of the building. NOXA PRIME develops this idea, offering a system that can be precisely tailored to the design objectives without compromising on functionality.

The system allows one to nine indoor units to be connected to a single outdoor unit. Such a solution translates directly into a reduction in the number of units installed on facades and roofs, which has both aesthetic and formal significance. In practice, this allows the architectural concept to remain consistent while ensuring the required comfort parameters.

Installation flexibility as an answer to space constraints
One of the key design challenges is to run installations in an existing or constrained building structure. NOXA PRIME offers the possibility to realize a freon installation of up to 100 meters, which increases the range of available design scenarios compared to standard solutions. In addition, the system allows different configurations of the chiller location - both above and below the indoor units, with a maximum distance of 30 meters.
The method of installation is also an important aspect. Socket connections using tees or multi-port manifolds simplify the installation process and reduce the amount of refrigeration copper used. Reduction of installation material translates not only into costs, but also into greater predictability of project implementation.

Performance versus building occupancy requirements
From a design perspective, it is important to be able to adapt the system to changing operating conditions. NOXA PRIME units operate effectively in a wide range of outdoor temperatures - from -15°C to 55°C in cooling mode and from -20°C to 27°C in heating mode. This allows them to be used in facilities with different purposes and variable use profiles.
The range of cooling capacities from 7.2 kW to 15.5 kW and heating capacities up to 16.0 kW makes it possible to support diverse functional zones within a single system. At the same time, the compact dimensions of the units facilitate their integration into technical spaces with limited space.
The use of R32 refrigerant (GWP=675) and the achieved efficiency ratings (SEER up to 7.5, SCOP up to 4.6) are in line with current requirements for energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of the installation.

Selection of indoor units vs. the nature of the space
An important part of the design process is the ability to match the type of unit to the function of the interior. In the NOXA PRIME system , wall, duct and cassette solutions are available, allowing you to vary the air distribution method according to your needs.
Wall-mounted units, with cooling capacities from 1.5 to 8.0 kW, can be installed very close to the ceiling - as close as 3 cm. This is important in projects where it is important to optimize room height. Thanks to the Coanda effect, the air is distributed evenly, and the ability to adjust the direction of the air supply in several planes makes it possible to reduce the direct impact of the air flow on users.

In spaces requiring discrete installation integration, ducted units are used. Their compact design (199 mm in height in selected models) and low noise levels from 22 dB(A) allow their use in hotel facilities, libraries or spa areas. Medium-pressure variants, equipped with a "C" type exchanger, provide stable airflow and facilitate maintenance of the units.
The cassette units offer 360° supplyand the possibility to adjust the louvers individually. With a static pressure of up to 30 Pa, they can be used in rooms up to 3.5 meters high, maintaining an adequate supply range.

Controls as part of the functionality of the space
The system provides for the use of wired and wireless controllers, enabling precise management of operating parameters. Temperature control with an accuracy of 0.5°C and diagnostic functions support both users and facility maintenance. The ability to connect two controllers to a single unit increases functionality in larger spaces, while the "Follow Me" function allows conditions to be adjusted to the user's actual location.
Durability and operation for the long term
In the context of a building's life cycle, it is not only the initial performance that is important, but also the stability of the parameters over time. The use of "C" type exchangers reduces the accumulation of contaminants, resulting in less frequent servicing and efficient condensate removal. Constant air flow allows to maintain the established operating parameters regardless of changing operating conditions.
