When the French company Airwell began producing air conditioners in Europe more than 70 years ago, their purpose was solely cooling. Over time, however, with the popularization of air conditioning in colder parts of the continent, the heating function became equally important. In Scandinavia today, air conditioners function almost exclusively as heat pumps for heating. In Poland, which has a temperate climate, air conditioners perform well in both roles.

Why does an air conditioner heat so well?
The secret is in the technology. The unit uses the temperature of the outside air - more than 70% of the energy in air conditioning comes from ambient heat. This means that we can get up to four kilowatts of heating or cooling power from one kilowatt of electricity consumed. For the Harmonia and Artica series from Airwell, seasonal coefficients of efficiency reach impressive values: SEER close to 5, and SCOP even 9. In practice, this means one thing - heating with an air conditioner is not only convenient, but also extremely cost-effective.

- HDMB, HDHC and HDLA wall-mounted air conditioners - most often installed in houses and apartments. They are quiet, efficient, equipped with filters that purify the air in the room. The Harmonia model from Airwell has 3 color versions, for which interchangeable front panels can be used in an additional 3 colors. Advanced features such as ionizer and 3D louver movement, very quiet night operation, along with multiple color versions, allow to meet the requirements of most customers.
- XDMX console - ideal for use in attics, where we often have a lot of slants and lack sufficiently high walls on which to hang a classic air conditioner. The console is mounted similarly to a radiator, on a low knee wall, making it fit perfectly into the demanding space - mounted low, like a radiator, it makes great use of the space under the haunches.
- CDMD and CDMX cassette units - are perfect for all rooms where central air supply from above is needed. They will be indispensable in open space offices, conference rooms or stores.
- DDMX ducted units - allow you to cool and heat rooms without a visible indoor unit. The air conditioner is hidden in the inter-ceiling space or technical room and distributes air exactly where it is needed. For DDMX duct air conditioners, Airwell offers a specially dedicated Wellzone system. One Airwell DDMX duct air conditioner can air condition up to 6 rooms together with the Wellzone system, and in each room the air conditioning can be independently switched on and off or the temperature can be changed at will.
- FDMX and FDLK ceiling units - are used in larger, often quite long rooms. Hung from the ceiling, using the Coanda effect, they have a long range of supply air, allowing to air condition large rooms where there is no false ceiling.
