Expanding our sound insulation system

Stairs have long been used not only as a connection between two levels, but increasingly as an element of interior design. Through their aesthetic character, they bring a unique charm to the staircase.

However, in addition to architectural requirements for staircase design, there is also a growing demand for efficient construction.

This combination, which is not so easy to realize, poses major challenges for designers.

Schöck Tronsole® Type P - combines both of these requirements. Fast and cost-effective installation of filigree architectural concrete restraints while meeting the highest requirements for sound insulation.

Great design freedom

Filigree rests from architectural concrete with thicknesses as low as 18 cm, surrounding expansion air gaps and individual design ideas such as an integrated light band are now also possible with acoustically separated rests.

Optimized construction workflow

The prefabricated rest stop is made so that it is placed between the already executed walls of the staircase without collision. Immediately after installation, the rest stop requires no additional supports and can be used.

Cost-effectiveness

Stairs made of Schöck Tronsole® type P are characterized by high cost-effectiveness. This not only optimizes the construction process, but there is also the possibility of dispensing with a floating floor, which reduces construction costs.

High degree of design safety

High load capacity up to 65 kN, fire resistance class R120.
