RECTOR-RAFFS - high load capacity, less thickness

Prestressed concrete technology has strongly influenced the development of modern floor solutions. Pre-stressed concrete ceilings RECTOR Polska Sp. z o.o. thanks to the use of prestressed beam (C50/60 concrete) can be used up to 10 m span. High load-bearing capacity and reduced thickness are the characteristics of this solution. Ceilings can be used over any floor of the building and the achieved acoustic and fire resistance parameters allow the use of RECTOR Polska Sp. z o.o. ceilings not only in single and multi-family buildings, but also in public buildings.

TYPES OF CEILING FILLING

Most often, the technology of the ceiling finish determines which ceiling fill will be used. The RECTOBETON system having an infill of concrete blocks forming a level surface from underneath is finished with plaster. The RECTOLIGHT system, which has ultralight wood-like panels, thanks to its unusual geometry, is ideal for drywall systems, and the spaces created between the beams are most often used for running installations in the thickness of the ceiling.

WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF RECTOR CEILINGS?

  • Much stronger RS prestressed beam
  • No time-consuming distribution ribs
  • Lower ceiling (from 16 cm)
  • Less stamping during installation
  • High rigidity of the ceilings
  • Less concrete and steel consumption on site
  • Zones of lowered blocks eliminate the use of formwork
  • Possibility of using thermal balcony connectors
  • No "keyboarding" of ceilings,
  • Ability to carry heavy loads (e.g., roof truss columns)
  • Durable blocks made of pure concrete (RECTOBETON) or ultralight panels (RECTOLIGHT)
  • Design, pricing and technical support from RECTOR specialists.

NO SPANGLING

The use of prestressed concrete technology has eliminated the disadvantages of dense-rib systems including the possibility of the appearance of cracks. RS prestressed beams provide high stiffness and minimal deflection of the ceiling, and the steel mesh laid in the over concrete layer replaces the separating ribs and allows point loads to be transferred to a larger floor area. Heavy partition walls or roof truss columns can therefore rest on the ceiling.

APPLICATION

RECTOR ceilings are commonly used in residential construction, public buildings and when replacing ceilings in historic buildings. Flexibility in design (high load-bearing capacity, acoustic parameters, fire resistance up to REI240, thickness from 16 cm) makes these ceilings "tailor-made" according to the guidelines of the designer and the investor.
