Application of fire protection solutions in modern office buildings

We designedthe Marc-Ok EI30, EI60, EI120 curtain door with demanding areas for investment development in mind. Its suitable design makes it possible to adapt the installation of the gate to the development conditions of the building. The Marc-Ok gate does not require a large space in the lintel and a massive structure for mounting. Its well-thought-out design allows it to be installed in tandem with an everyday gate. With a width and height of no more than 2.5 meters, the curtains do not require an electric drive and can be activated by a thermal fusible link trigger - an ideal solution for securing a window opening. Flexible gate design, simple construction, low dead weight or completely invisible curtain are just some of the advantages of the gate. To meet the needs of the project, we will make the gate in smoke-proof Sa and S200, stainless steel, utility category C2 and in any size up to 18x10 m. The unique solutions used in Marc-Ok EI30, EI60, EI120 guarantee not only a high level of safety, but also the durability of the product, ease of installation and servicing.

Marc-P+ EI30, EI60, EI120 fire resistant sliding gates are primarily used in underground garages of modern office buildings. They are an ideal solution wherever we have a reserve of space at least on one side of the opening. In the case of limited parking space for the wing, the gate can be made in a telescopic 2- or 3-wing arrangement. The possibility of equipping sliding gates with EI30, EI60, EI120 escape doors is their undoubted advantage.

Marc-Kda Class D, DH60 mobile smoke curtains for separating smoke zones are also proven in public and commercial buildings. Their flexible design allows them to be integrated into the design of the designed interior, so the architect can freely arrange the space and the investor can effectively use it. Marc-Kda smoke curtains ensure the possibility of evacuation and limit the spread of smoke. Installing a smoke curtain system ensures control of the movement of fire gases and smoke inside buildings. It also allows efficient division of space into fire zones and smoke reservoirs. With no dimensional restrictions, the curtains can enclose very large areas, and their adaptability makes it possible to create a smoke partition of any shape.

Unusual solution - Warsaw Spire fire escape tunnel.

The EI60 evacuation tunnel is our innovative solution with which we proved that fire regulations do not have to be a limitation. For the Warsaw Spire skyscraper, we designed a 15m-long fire escape tunnel hidden in the corridor, which slides out in just 2 minutes in case of fire and connects the stairwell with the exit to the outside of the building. It consists of two overlapping segments that, in the event of a fire, extend out of the corridor into the open space of the building and allow rapid evacuation of those on the top floors of the office building. As soon as the tunnel is activated inside it, the evacuation lights come on, while the doors in the façade through which the tunnel will exit to the outside open automatically upon a fire alarm. The evacuation tunnel at Warsaw Spire is undoubtedly an alternative to existing evacuation systems.
