BANNE - a new Dutch brand on the Polish market

BANNE, which is part of the Zuiver Group, was founded by Arjen Lubbes in the Netherlands in 2020, with architects and designers in mind. The company's name comes from an old local dialect meaning "neighborhood," and is more than just a name, as it reminds us of the power of sustainable community living to overcome the toughest challenges together.

Peter van de Water - winner of the 2019 Dutch Design Award His concepts are strong and unmistakable - he gives projects a recognizable, often iconic aesthetic. Working out of his studio in West Amsterdam's favorite neighborhood, Peter is passionate about changing the way the industry thinks about sustainable design. New ideas are key, but they also need to be sustainable - not just in terms of construction, but also in terms of appearance, he says.
Peter combines form, function and design, and creates sustainable objects in a modern form, such as the Bloom seat - recognized in the finals of the 2020 Guiltless Plastic Award - which is made from 100 percent recycled automotive industry waste and recycled bottle caps. The Bloom armchair is surprisingly functional and versatile - it fits into any environment. It has a hidden rainwater drain, and can be filled with a few pounds of sand in case of wind. The large selection of fabric covers makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

They are therefore perfectly suited for home offices as well as offices. The chairs can be ordered from BM Housing - in many variations and fabrics.

Lex Pott - a master of design in wood, stone and metal. He graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven and has since received a number of awards. He is also a finalist for the 2019 Dutch Design Awards - considered one of the best Dutch designers. Lex designed the handmade Slice sofa and armchair for Banne - both tennis ball-inspired designs, characterized by top-quality design - simple, modern and timeless. Also testifying to the functionality of Lex's designs are the Waterfall chairs, made of a bent steel frame in a wooden finish flowing down like a waterfall.

Bas Vellekoop - graduated from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in The Hague in 2010. In the same year he founded the studio of the same name. Bas is the author of the Centre table steel tables - extremely impressive, in which, thanks to innovative technology, they allow easy removal of micro-scratches caused by use. This method, along with a timeless look, ensures a longer, more sustainable life for the furniture.

Also worth noting is the thoughtful and interesting Twigs line of chairs designed by Buro Banne, which combines the best of solid ash wood and veneered plywood in a unique semi-circular design. It will be ideal for modern office and home interiors. Equally interesting, fashionable modular sofas Blocks (Buro Banne), allow you to freely configure sets in an almost infinite number of shapes, sizes and materials. Both chairs and sofas BANNE, can be configured for projects, in a wide range of ecological fabrics in different colors. An undoubted advantage is also the availability of the products, since they are manufactured in Europe, most of them are available off-the-shelf.
