Intelligent building management from a single system - myGEZE Control

from the series "Windows, doors, hardware, guards - trends 2026"

Modern buildings today are much more than individual devices operating independently of each other. It is increasingly important to be able to centrally manage all elements of the infrastructure - from doors and windows, to access control and alarm systems, to ventilation, smoke control and building automation. It is to these needs that myGEZE Control responds.

myGEZE Control is a platform that integrates door, window and security systems with a building management system. With it, it is possible to centrally monitor and control GEZE products and integrate them with other installations in the facility - regardless of the manufacturer. In practice, this means that automatic doors, windows, smoke extraction systems, access control, alarms or ventilation can work together in one consistent environment.

The basis of the solution is a PLC with certified BACnet communication. The system also supports OPC UA and KNX standards, allowing easy integration with both modern BMS systems and existing building infrastructure. The open architecture allows interoperability with BMS, PSIM and CAFM systems from different manufacturers.

A major advantage of myGEZE Control is its modular design. The system can be tailored to the scale and needs of the project - from simple applications involving a few doors to elaborate facilities with multiple zones and hundreds of devices. One controller can operate up to 200 GEZE products, and additional modules allow the system to be expanded as the building grows or its needs change.

myGEZE Control allows the connection of up to 63 devices on the CAN bus, up to 80 input signals and up to 40 relay outputs. The system can also work with KNX/EIB devices and components from other manufacturers. This makes it possible to create advanced scenarios for building operation - from automatic opening and closing of doors, to cooperation with HVAC systems and fire alarms, to management of access and evacuation zones.

One of the solution's greatest strengths is central monitoring. An administrator or facility manager can check the status of doors, windows and security devices in real time, receive error messages and quickly respond to failures or irregularities. This reduces downtime, improves service scheduling and increases the reliability of the entire building.

Integration of all systems in a single environment also affects the security of the facility. It is possible to monitor fire and evacuation zones more effectively, respond more quickly in alarm situations and precisely manage access to selected parts of the building. This is particularly important in office buildings, hotels, hospitals, airports or commercial facilities, where security and business continuity are of paramount importance.

myGEZE Control also supports energy efficiency. By integrating doors, windows, ventilation, heating and air conditioning, it is possible to create scenarios that reduce energy loss - for example, by automatically closing doors, controlling ventilation or interfacing with HVAC systems. This reduces building operating costs while increasing occupant comfort.

For designers, integrators and facility managers, easier implementation is also a major advantage. GEZE provides complete BACnet lists, technical documentation, wiring diagrams and ready-to-use integration solutions, allowing faster system design, commissioning and development.

myGEZE Control shows that a modern building does not have to consist of many independent installations operating separately. With centralized management, it is possible to combine safety, comfort, energy efficiency and easier operation in one cohesive system.
