INNOVIEW vertical joinery in custom designs

26 of May '26

From the series "Windows, doors, hardware, covers - trends 2026"

Custom buildings are memorable for a long time. Behind their uniqueness is not only a bold design vision, but also precise craftsmanship, capable of meeting the demanding requirements of architecture. It is in this area that INNOVIEW vertical joinery is beginning to play a key role, transcending the boundaries of catalog solutions. Its unique face can be found in many realizations.

Church in Sleza - respect for tradition

Even at first glance, the church located on Mount Sleza, in Lower Silesia, draws attention with its distinctive form. This historic religious building underwent a renovation that included replacing the facade windows. The process required strict adherence to guidelines so that the new elements would blend harmoniously with the existing expression of the building, while respecting its historic and sacred character. The installed FAKRO INNOVIEW vertical joinery was a perfect fit for the specifics of the building. Wooden, pine windows provide very good acoustic and thermal properties and are characterized by a solid structure. The warm coloring of the profiles in brown tones harmonizes perfectly with the stone walls, creating a coherent and subtle composition. In turn, the arched design of the windows with characteristic muntins refers to the traditional arrangement of glazing, maintaining the rhythm of architecture of past centuries.

Out of respect for history - the Sacred Bastion in Wroclaw

The 19th-century Sackva Bastion in Wroclaw, once part of the city's defense system, has been transformed after revitalization into a space for cultural and recreational activities. The installed FAKRO INNOVIEW arched tilt-and-turn windows were enriched with decorative muntins. The natural, wooden material used for the windows emphasized the historical atmosphere of the building, while creating a bridge between the past and the present. In addition, the windows on the interior side were enriched with a simple, modern REGULAR profile, which harmonizes perfectly with the classic architecture. As a result, it was possible to maintain a historical character that highlights and enhances the city's cultural heritage.

Marzewicki villas in classical style

In Wroclaw, we can also find other distinctive developments with non-standard vertical window joinery solutions. Near the Mokrzański Forest are the Marzewickie Villas, whose composition refers to the aesthetics of classical residences. Their architecture draws attention to the harmony of forms and carefully chosen proportions. The used INNOVIEW vertical windows with characteristic muntins give the facade a refined character, evoking associations with historic buildings with a unique atmosphere. They took the form of portfenetr windows, also known as French windows - the glazing leading from the floor to the ceiling creates a seamless transition between the interior and the exterior. On the facade side, the windows are complemented by a subtle balustrade, which does not disturb the architectural integrity of the block. The large glass surface allows daylight to flow in freely, evenly illuminating the interiors and enhancing the impression of spaciousness. The windows are made of meranti wood - an exotic raw material valued for its noble appearance, durability and high stability. The woodwork used also provides very good thermal insulation, which is particularly important due to the residential function of the building.

Multi-surface glazing

Not only historic buildings or apartments benefit from the potential of unique solutions. In single-family homes, INNOVIEW custom vertical joinery responds to the needs of the occupants, allowing the design to match the character of the building and its surroundings. Multi-surface glazing of impressive dimensions, reaching up to 12 meters in length and 2.8 meters in height, creates vast panes of glass opening the house to the surrounding landscape. This emphasizes the modern character of the architecture, while ensuring comfort, functionality and a high standard of use.
