What is a monobloc heat pump?


Air source heat pumps with monobloc design are completely manufactured and assembled at the factory
. All components - fan, evaporator, compressor, expansion valve and condenser - are enclosed in a single unit. All the connections of the system inside the pump containing refrigerant gas are also made during the production process. The thermodynamic system is filled with refrigerant gas, then sealed and tested in an extremely meticulous manner. The heat pump is airtight and therefore safe.

HPA-O 8 CS Plus monobloc inverter air-to-water heat pump

  • The monobloc is a complete, compact heat pump that is very easy to install
  • sets new heating standards in the segment of newly built single-family houses

  • I-COOL Technology function - intelligent cooling of the inverter - is carried out through the hydraulic system of the heat pump; compared to cooling by air, the system used allows to optimize and cool the inverter more efficiently; the flow rate of the cooling medium is controlled and regulated by a valve, so that cooling is realized only when necessary; in addition, the heat discharged from the inverter is transferred to the heating system, and not irretrievably "dumped" into the environment
  • ABC design function(Anti-Block-Condensate) prevents the condensate drain, formed when defrosting the heat pump, from being blocked and thus freezing the evaporator; in the bottom plate of the heat pump, the evaporator area is open
  • active cooling - cooling by taking heat from the heating system by means of surface heating and fan coils
  • maximum supply temperature of the heating medium +60°C (for P4°C) and +50°C (for P-8°C)
  • application limit: air temperature from -20°C to +40°C
  • heating power P7/W35 (min./max.) is 5.48/8.50 respectively
  • efficiency coefficient (COP) at A7/W35 (EN 14511) is 4.76
  • sound pressure level (EN 12102) is 57dB (A)
  • the unit is factory-equipped with safety features (including a high-pressure sensor, a low-pressure sensor) and has an integrated frost protection system; at a condenser temperature of 8°C, the circulating pump is automatically switched on, and when the temperature in the heating circuit drops below 5°C, the heat pump is automatically switched on
  • possibility to connect with photovoltaic installation
