From the series “Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning—Trends for 2026”
A classic air conditioning system consists of one or more indoor units and an outdoor unit (condenser) that transfers (or extracts) heat to or from outside the building. In many cases, it is not possible to install the outdoor unit outside the building. Is it possible to do without it and still provide effective air conditioning or heating? YES!
The Monoklima brand specializes in promoting and distributing specialized air conditioners that are installed entirely inside buildings. The units available in our lineup enable both cooling and economical space heating in buildings where a standard solution with an outdoor unit is impossible or difficult to implement.
Monoklima — air-to-air monoblock (compact) units that require direct access to outside air—usually through two openings in the exterior wall.

The INNOVA “2.0” series air conditioners represent this category . These units feature excellent design, high quality, a shallow depth, and very quiet operation. They can be mounted on the wall either high up or right at floor level, and a horizontal ceiling-mounted “CEILING” version has recently become available .

Monoklima— air-to-air split and multi-split systems, conceptually similar to standard air conditioners—consist of an indoor unit (or several) and a separate outdoor unit with a compressor. The difference is that the outdoor unit is installed indoors—for example, in a utility room, attic, or basement—in a location with access to outside air.

Monoklima —monoblocks, split systems, and “water-based” (water-to-air) multisplit systems—are units that operate similarly to standard models but use water to dissipate heat. Therefore, they do not require access to outside air and can be installed anywhere where water can be supplied and drained.

A new addition is the WLHP-C monoblock in the Open Circuit version with a cooling capacity of 2.59 kW. When using running water, water consumption and the associated cost must be taken into account. An alternative is a closed water circuit, known as a “water loop,” which is used, for example, in larger facilities.
Another option is to connect to closed-loop water systems, known as “water loops,” which are used in larger facilities.
A slightly different but interesting solution is the“3in1 MONO”indoor air-to-water heat pumps with a capacity of up to 10 kW (heating + cooling + DHW). Any type of heating or cooling emitter can be connected to them. Fan coils are particularly well-suited for this purpose, including versions designed for installation in walls, ceilings, and floors. This allows for the construction of a water-based heating and cooling system entirely within a single unit or building.
