One of the unique features of Marmoleum is its natural ability to inhibit bacterial growth. It is a direct result of the carpet's composition - the key ingredient, linseed oil, has antibacterial properties that do not diminish over time. As a result, Marmoleum provides lasting hygienic protection for the entire
lifetime.

A floor close to nature

Marmoleum is a unique floor covering also in terms of its composition - as much as 98% of its components are natural, rapidly renewable raw materials. In its composition you will find linseed oil, tree resin, wood flour, limestone and jute fibers. The production process is based on renewable energy sources, and the material itself is in line with the principles of a closed-loop economy. At our production facilities, plant residues and waste from the manufacturing process are carefully selected, and then processed and reused. As a result, Marmoleum can contain up to 43% recycled material - without any loss of quality. Marmoleum not only meets the highest environmental standards, but also allows for end-of-life composting. This means it can be returned to nature as an ingredient for new raw materials - without a trace of waste.

Durability for years

Natural composition goes hand in hand with durability. Marmoleum undergoes a curing process, so its resistance increases over time. In addition, collections designed for commercial buildings are protected with a special UV-curable Topshield Pro protective coating. This coating protects the surface of the carpet from dirt penetration, staining and scratches, facilitating daily maintenance and ensuring a long-lasting, aesthetic appearance. Thanks to its properties, Marmoleum is ideal for use in facilities such as healthcare facilities, schools, kindergartens, hotels or big-box stores - wherever hygiene, durability and aesthetics are key. An additional advantage is the wide range of colors and patterns available in the collections - from subtle, neutral shades to intense, bold colors. As a result, the carpet easily fits into various design concepts.

Marmoleum Sport - natural flooring on the move

Sports demand more from flooring materials. They must be durable, safe and comfortable, while also being aesthetically pleasing and compliant with current standards. The answer to these needs is Marmoleum Sport - a natural flooring designed specifically for sports facilities, which combines technical properties with an ecological approach to design. Marmoleum Sport carpet is the top layer of sports surface-elastic and point-elastic floors. The flooring can be installed on legged structures, as well as on a 7mm thick Regupol flexible subfloor. Both solutions meet the requirements of the European sports standard EN 14904. Marmoleum Sport comes in a 3.2mm thick version, as well as a 4mm thick version in an attractive range of colors, tailored specifically for sports hall applications. A sports floor made with Marmoleum Sport performs well in typical sports halls, increasing the safety of users, both during recreation and intensive training. It is also an excellent solution for multi-purpose rooms where various events or celebrations are held.
