Eco-friendly heating from the air with Mistral heat pumps

30 of November '22

Lindab is expanding its range of heat pumps with new products. Mistral brand air-to-water pumps are a new, energy-efficient proposal for customers who care about ecology and who value high quality equipment, but at a favorable price.

Air-to-water heat pumps are gaining popularity among home builders. They are devices that do not generate flue gases when generating heat, so they are safe for the environment. They offer more functions, because in addition to heating and heating hot water, they cool the building during hot weather. In addition, the annual cost of heating a building with a heat pump system is on average two times lower than heating with gas.

Split-type air-to-water heat pumps from Mistral are energy-efficient units in energy class A+++ (for 35°C supply) or A++ (for 55°C supply). They consist of an outdoor unit and a hydronic module mounted inside the building. The sound power level of the outdoor unit ranges from 59 to 68 dB, depending on the model, so the sound it generates can be compared to a normal conversation. Mistral heat pumps can operate in extreme conditions, even down to -25°C. They are characterized by high efficiency (COP up to 5.0) even at low temperatures and have a 5-year warranty.

Currently in our offer there are units with capacities of 8 and 10 kW. Heat pumps with capacities of 12 and 16 kW will appear in the first quarter of 2023.
