Facades in strong, intense tones
Intense, especially dark colors, absorb more light. The lower the HBW, the more energy is accumulated in the material, and thus the surface is subject to greater thermal stress and cracking.
Advantages of dark and inessential facades
The ITB instruction on thermal insulation allows colors with HBW<20 to be used on a facade in an amount not exceeding 10% of its surface. The higher the HBW, the more energy is reflected from the facade surface. The façade is less subject to thermal stress and thus to cracking. On a sunny day, the surface of the facade on which plaster with HBV=5 is applied can heat up to 75°C. The plaster together with the reinforced layer expands strongly.
Protection from rain
What happens when rain falls on such a heated surface? The surface of the facade rapidly drops in temperature to about 25°C - thermal shock occurs, and the plaster layer and the reinforced layer shrink strongly. Only the use of appropriately flexible products prevents the plaster from cracking. Such a technological solution is offered by ATLAS. High resin content
Thanks to the high resin content and computer-selected inorganic and organic pigments, highly resistant to UV radiation, the application guarantees a beautiful, durable and colorful facade for many years.
With a high content of titanium white acting as a natural protection and reflecting some of the radiation, this plaster has extreme UV resistance. In addition, titanium white improves the covering power - the more titanium white, the better the covering because it acts as a filler. In the case of light colors, this gives the coating whiteness and brightness.
