Natural sunrise effect in the bedroom

Smart lighting improves well-being and helps with daily activities with a new wake-up automation - Sunrise. The new Sunrise effect with its transition from blue to soft orange light mimics the sun appearing over the horizon, providing a relaxing wake-up call in the morning or at any time of day.

"Wake and Sleep" automations allow you to automatically dim the lights as you fall asleep and gently brighten them in the morning when you wake up from sleep.

You can set the desired effect duration and time of day. The lights can turn on and off at non-standard times or at sunrise and sunset. They will brightly illuminate the kitchen at breakfast time or create a soft glow at night in the living room. Set the lights to turn on when you enter the house and to turn off when you leave. When you're home, the app knows to leave the lights on.

Sunrise automations can be found in the Philips Hue app on the Automations - Wakeup tab, for Hue Bridge users, and on the Routines tab for Bluetooth users.

Users of the existing wake-up style - now called Wake-up - can try out the new effect by selecting Sunrise on the automation edit screen.

You can use a single screen to set up lighting arrangements, dim and brighten, and turn lights on and off in rooms. You can also organize lighting throughout the floor with the function of grouping lights into Rooms and Zones. Just create Rooms for each bedroom on the floor, and then a Zone to control the entire floor. Try out light arrangements created by lighting professionals, found in the Hue Arrangements Gallery and grouped by category, organized by style and the impressions created by each configuration. Or maybe you want to create your own arrangement? To create an arrangement yourself, use your own photos to do so, or start from scratch with custom colors and brightness, then save the arrangements for use at any time. Or start your Philips Hue adventure with arrangements of the most popular, user-recommended ones, such as Aurora Borealis or Sunset on the Savannah.
