Contemporary architecture is increasingly operating on a scale that goes beyond standard drywall solutions. High floors, open lobbies, open spaces or interiors with a public function require wall and ceiling systems to simultaneously meet many complex requirements - from durability and stability, to acoustics and fire resistance, to maintaining large-scale aesthetics.

In such projects, a key role is played by the load-bearing structure, on which all further layers and performance of walls, ceilings are based. It is its rigidity, resistance to deformation and ability to carry loads that determine the reliability of the entire system. It is with such design conditions in mind that Rigips GypSerra® drywall profiles were developed.
High walls without structural compromises
The use of CW and UW GypSerra® profiles makes it possible to design partition walls up to 11 meters high, with a maximum allowable surface load of up to 60 kg/m². Increased load-bearing capacity and resistance to deformation allows architects to shape the space more freely - without the need to divide interiors with additional structural elements or give up open proportions.

Rigidity that matters in practice
The advantage of GypSerra® profiles is determined by their patented fluting pattern, which significantly increases the stiffness of the section while maintaining the same steel thickness. Tests have confirmed that GypSerra® CD60 profiles achieve up to 26% higher stiffness and bending strength compared to standard profiles with similar material parameters. In practice, this means:
- up to 5% higher resistance to wall yielding,
- up to 20% higher deflection resistance of ceilings,
- up to 10% higher load capacity of ceilings,
- about 30% higher resistance to torsion of profiles.

One solution - many applications
Rigips GypSerra® profiles are designed as a system and universal solution. They can be used for, among other things:
- partition walls of great heights,
- wall claddings anchored to load-bearing partitions (CD60 GypSerra®),
- single- and two-story ceilings,
- span ceilings without attachment to the ceiling (e.g. CW100 GypSerra®),
- enclosures for installation and elevator shafts (e.g. CW75 GypSerra®).
An additional advantage is the ability to design wall cladding of any height with a fire resistance of up to 120minutes, which is important in buildings with high safety requirements.

Durability and safety in use
GypSerra® profiles are coated with an organic coating that provides increased resistance to weathering and higher resistance to oxidation compared to standard passivation coatings.
