Hunter Douglas proposals - quality and responsibility

02 of November '24

From the series "Modern Office Buildings - Trends 2024"

The world continues to change at a dizzying pace, which influences the evolution of requirements for office and public spaces. Design and technological directions are focused on adapting to the current needs of companies and their employees. Strong trends continue to be the more flexible nature of office spaces, wellbeing and ergonomics, with comfort, including acoustics, sustainability and ESG in the form of sustainability and minimization of carbon footprint as important elements.

We are seeing increasing interest not only in the quality of materials and the comfort associated with their use, but also in their future recyclability. This aspect is being considered as part of companies reducing their carbon footprint. Hunter Douglas has long been committed to the principle that quality goes hand in hand with environmental responsibility. Our products have the necessary certifications, such as Cradle-to-Cradle, which guarantee recipients sustainable solutions, says Jacek Szeląg, General Manager at Hunter Douglas Poland.

Hunter Douglas makes sure that the proposed solutions are flexible and offer endless possibilities of arrangement. The panels are available in a standard version or a version with acoustic properties. Acoustic panels are the perfect solution for conference, concert and lecture halls, hotels, offices, schools and many other rooms. Acoustic wall panels are ideal for any room where noise control is important. It is possible to combine several different Hunter Douglas architectural products, such as felt, solid wood or veneered wood, in a wall development project. Wood panels can also be perforated. Several perforation patterns are available so that the required absorption rate can be achieved. Standard or custom perforated panels can be combined with smooth panels, or you can choose a special Nano Wood perforation for effective sound absorption, which is only visible up close.

In line with current trends, solid wood wall claddings such as Solid Wood Grid are very popular in Poland, allowing to create truly natural walls with excellent acoustic performance and fire resistance. Solid wood, for example: oak is a balanced and timeless material. Its warm hues balance the neutral color palette of office spaces.

The same is true for Hunter Douglas' range of Solid Wood Grid and Solid Wood Linear wood ceilings, which guarantee natural warmth and acoustic comfort. An unparalleled range of finishes and natural shades makes it possible to create a breathtaking effect. Contributing to this is the use of different wood species and their natural properties and appearance.
