Founded in 1946, Ferreira de Sá is now one of the largest and oldest carpet factories in Europe. Ferreira de Sá rugs and carpets are made to order. Each production is tailored to the requirements of the project in terms of manufacturing technique, fiber type, pile height.

Ferreira de Sá offers tufted, flat weave, hand woven and hand knotted carpets. It uses natural fibers, such as various types of wool, bamboo, botanical silk (from eucalyptus), jute and flax, as well as artificial fibers - polypropylene (for outdoor carpets) and Econyl (a synthetic fiber extracted from ocean garbage, among others).

The factory has a design studio to help develop patterns, create layouts for rugs and carpets, and draw installation diagrams. You can base your own design on one of the ready-made patterns from the Ferreira de Sá catalog. Or you can make any modification you wish, from colors to pattern scale, fiber type and pile height. The specified pattern can be ordered as a carpet.
