New generation of ISOVER Lanaé glass wool. Bio-based binder and recycled glass for better indoor air quality
The ISOVER brand has launched a new generation of Lanaé glass wool that combines superior insulation quality with exceptional comfort and safety. Thanks to the use of a bio-based binder and a high content of recycled glass, Lanaé improves indoor air quality (Indoor Air Quality Gold certified), responding to the needs of designers and builders who expect not only excellent technical performance, but also a conscious approach to the choice of insulation materials.
The use of a bio-based binder makes Lanaé wool odorless, less dusty and has a non-biting texture, thus minimizing irritation and increasing comfort

Higher comfort and healthy microclimate thanks to bio-based binder
The new generation of Lanaé glass wool is another example of ISOVER's responsible approach to building material design. Thanks to the use of a biobased binder based primarily on raw materials from the sugar and grain industries, which is activated through a thermal curing process (polymerization), Lanaé glass wool features a new creamy color, reduced dusting and no offensive odor. Lanaé ensures the highest air quality in an insulated building, which in turn means higher comfort and better well-being for the occupants. This is all the more important because the product is dedicated exclusively to indoor applications, where not only energy efficiency, but also a healthy microclimate and comfort counts.
Confirmation of the excellent properties of Lanaé wool in this regard is the awarding of the prestigious Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certificate - a quality mark recognized throughout Europe, which informs of compliance with the strictest standards for indoor air qualityindoors - as well as EUCEB (European Certification Board for Mineral Wool Products) certification, which is awarded to mineral wool products that meet European standards and are classified as non-carcinogenic. By choosing the new generation of ISOVER Lanaé glass wool insulation products, investors and designers are therefore assured that they have bet on a modern, safe and proven solution.
Because it is extremely soft, Lanaé glass wool can be cut effortlessly and with precision, allowing greater control over material consumption, reduced wastage and time savings

Working on new projects, but also on renovations of existing buildings, I try to make investors aware that in addition to achieving an attractive visual effect, the comfort of the building is also very important. A huge impact on it has the right insulation, which can contribute to obtaining optimal temperature in the rooms (and thus reduce the amount of bills for heating and air conditioning) and additionally protect against noise and increase safety in case of fire. However, it is worth knowing that the use of the right insulation material also makes it possible to achieve better air quality and a healthy microclimate inside the building by using products with the lowest rates of volatile substances. In this respect, the new generation of ISOVER Lanaé glass wool stands out from the solutions available on the market, which, thanks to the combination of bio-based binder (based on plant products from the sugar and grain industries) and recycled glass, improves indoor air quality, as confirmed by the prestigious Indoor Air Comfort Gold® certificate, emphasizes Marcin Kolanus, architect, co-founder of PORT Architects.
With the environment in mind, with the future in mind
The new generation of Lanaé glass wool includes two top products from ISOVER's portfolio: ISOVER Multimax 30PRO with the lowest lambda on the market, and Super - Mata Plus available in thicknesses: from 50 to 200mm. In addition to the indicated benefits, Lanaé wool retains all the advantages of ISOVER glass wool for interior applications. First of all, it has very good thermal insulation parameters, which allow it to stop the escape of heat from rooms in winter and protect against excessive heat gain in summer, which in turn provides thermal comfort and reduces heating and air conditioning bills. On the plus side, it is also necessary to note the non-flammability (class A1) and very good acoustic parameters, which translate into a real increase in safety and improve the quality of life of householders. Also worthy of special appreciation is the fact that - as in the case of other glass wools from the ISOVER range - up to 80% of the glass used in its production comes from recycling. The manufacturer has also used packaging created from film containing 30% PCR, which reduces the use of virgin plastic, and printed at only 15%, so less ink is used. All of these measures prove that the new ISOVER glass wool is a solution refined in every detail and designed not only for the comfort of installers or users, but also with respect for the environment.
The excellent performance characteristics of Lanaé wool go hand in hand with very good technical parameters: insulation, acoustics and fire protection

A comprehensive answer to the needs of conscious investors
ISOVER Lanaé mineral wool is not only a manifestation of the brand's responsible approach to the production process, but also a response to the needs of consumers, who are increasingly looking for safe yet effective building materials. As many as 30% of respondents to a survey conducted by the ISOVER brand indicated that savings in the use of a house or apartment are most influenced by proper insulation of the building (walls, roof, floor). Interestingly, the group that most often gave this answer were respondents aged 25-34, i.e. those potentially most interested in finishing, renovation or construction. At the same time, as many as 47% of respondents taking part in the aforementioned survey said that a building finishing element of particular importance to the long-term health of its occupants is materials resistant to moisture and mold, such as waterproofing, appropriate plasters or insulation materials. In turn, 46% of respondents pointed to good building insulation that provides effective soundproofing and maintains optimal temperature.

These results clearly show that Poles are increasingly aware of the role of thermal modernization in reducing their home or apartment bills, and of the impact of safe, certified and harmful substance-free building materials on their health. With solutions such as the new ISOVER Lanaé glass wool, they are able to achieve a healthy microclimate and thermal and acoustic comfort indoors, and additionally increase their fire safety. Thus, Lanaé wool provides a comprehensive solution for modern construction and the ISOVER brand once again sets the standard in the industry by offering a product that is not only technologically innovative, but also has a real impact on the comfort of everyday life.
