Have you already seen the movie "Brutalist" with Adrien Brody? If so, we have something just in time for fans of strong forms and distinctive sounds — the Brutalist Speaker from Transparent. This speaker is a real treat for lovers of brutalism. Raw, monumental, yet finely crafted — it looks like a sculpture, and sounds like a masterful symphony.

The speaker is inspired by brutalism

A speaker for a "Brutalist"

Transparent, a Stockholm-based audio brand known for its minimalist yet distinctive speakers, is launching its latest model, the Brutalist Speaker. Its design pays homage to Brutalism, an architectural trend that originated in Britain in the 1950s, famous for its geometric simplicity and austere aesthetics.

- It is exciting to bring this legendary architectural style into people”s homes, and to bring the worlds of architecture and design closer together — says Per Brickstad, Creative Director at Transparent.

Combining architecture and design

Transparent proves once again that technology and design can go hand in hand. The Brutalist Speaker is not only a speaker, but also an eye-catching interior element that harmoniously combines form and function, in line with the Swedish company's philosophy. Made from 70% recycled aluminum, it stands out not only for its distinctive aesthetics, but also for its excellent acoustic properties, providing unparalleled sound quality. The speaker's design guarantees excellent bass and spatial sound. So if you want your living room to become not only a place of relaxation, but also a gallery of modern design — this speaker is for you!

- We believe that audio objects can be both aesthetically striking, technically advanced but yet simple to use, and this speaker exemplifies that vision. adds Per Brickstad.

Cutting-edge technology

The speaker's impressive design conceals ample acoustic resonance, and a precision-engineered bass reflex system provides powerful yet natural-sounding bass tones. The design consists of two nearly eight-centimeter tweeters placed at a 90° angle to each other. This allows the sound to spread wider and reach more listeners. Positioning the speaker in the corner of the room further enhances the spatial effect by taking advantage of acoustic reflections from the walls.

- The Brutalist Speaker is more than just a speaker, it's a sound monument that invites the listener to a grand adventure — says Per.

Like all Transparent models, the Brutalist Speaker can be part of a stereo or a multi-room wireless system. The speaker is equipped with a special compartment for wireless modules. It is also pre-integrated with Wiim Mini, a powerful and versatile Wi-Fi music streamer that enhances your Spotify and Tidal listening experiences.
