STEICO has been leading the way in designing materials for energy-efficient construction for years. In 2025, it introduced new solutions to the Polish market: STEICOtimberfloc, an innovative blown-in insulation, and STEICOsafe, a pre-covered panel with a windproofing membrane. Both solutions respond to the growing demands for energy efficiency, durability and comfort.

STEICOtimberfloc - next-generation insulation
STEICOtimberfloc is a blow-in insulation that combines the advantages of wood fibers and cellulose in a single product. Thanks to a unique production process, a structure of three-dimensionally interlocking fibers is formed, which ensures the stability of the insulation layer and eliminates the risk of settlement. The product can be applied from a bulk density of 42 kg/m³, which means less material consumption and shorter installation time.
STEICOtimberfloc blown-in thermal insulation is used to insulate roofs, soffits, attics and walls, both in new construction and during thermal upgrading work.

The cellulose content improves the flow rate during blowing, making it possible to use both standard and high-performance machines. The result? Fast application, no joints and full filling of even hard-to-reach spaces. STEICOtimberfloc works well in roofs, ceilings, walls and attics - both in new buildings and during thermal upgrades. The thermal conductivity coefficient λD is 0.039 W/(m-K), and the product has European technical approval ETA-23/0465.
STEICOsafe pre-covered panels with a factory-applied windproofing membrane can be used for roofs with pitches as low as 5°

STEICOsafe - protection and insulation in one
The second novelty is STEICOsafe - a wood fiber thermal insulation board with a pre-adhered windproofing membrane. This solution significantly reduces installation time and increases resistance to precipitation, as confirmed by tests of the Holzforschung Austria institute. The panels can be used from a roof pitch of 5°, opening up new design possibilities for pitched roofs and modern architectural forms.
STEICOsafe is available in thicknesses of up to 240 mm, so in many cases a single layer is sufficient to achieve the required insulation performance. The λD coefficient for thicknesses above 120 mm is 0.037 W/(m-K). The panels are diffusion-open, which protects the structure from moisture, and additionally provide sound insulation and thermal comfort.
The handy panel format: 600 mm wide and 1,880 or 2,230 mm long facilitates traditional on-site installation

Why it's worth it.
Both products are part of the trend of designing buildings with high energy efficiency and durability. STEICOtimberfloc guarantees airtightness and material savings, while STEICOsafe ensures safety and fast installation even in demanding conditions. These are solutions that simplify the work of architects and contractors while ensuring high quality standards.
Formats also adapted to prefabricated roofs and walls for clinker facades
