From the series "Green solutions - trends, technologies 2025"
Air conditioners and heat pumps are powered by electricity and do not emit pollutants at the site. They are therefore a clean and economical source of cooling or heat. A classic air-conditioning system consists of one or more indoor units, and an outdoor unit (chiller) that gives off (or extracts) heat to the outside of the building. In many cases, the chiller cannot be installed outside the building. Is it possible to omit it and still provide functional air conditioning or heating? YES!!!
Monoklima brand specializes in the promotion and distribution of specific air conditioners mounted entirely inside buildings. Available devices allow both cooling and economical reheating of rooms in buildings where a standard solution with an outdoor unit is impossible or difficult to apply.

Monoclimate - air-to-airmonoblocks (compacts) that need direct access to the outside air - usually through 2 openings in the outer wall. The representative of this category are INNOVA air conditioners of the "2.0" series. Units with excellent design, high quality, shallow depth and very quiet. They can be mounted on the wall both high and at the very floor, and recently a horizontal ceiling version "CEILING" is available.

Monoclima - indoor air-to-air splits and multisplits, ideologically similar to standard air conditioners - have a supply unit (or several) and a separate unit with a compressor (chiller). The difference is that the chiller is mounted internally, for example, in a utility room, attic or basement - a place with access to outside air.

Monoclimate - monoblocs, splits and "water" (water-to-air) multisplits are units that operate similarly to standard units, but use water to dissipate heat. Thus, they do not need access to outside air and can be placed anywhere water can be supplied and discharged. When connecting to running water, you have to factor in operation a fair amount (and cost) of water used. Another option is to connect every closed water circuits so-called "water loop", used in larger facilities.

A slightly different, but interesting solution are indoor "3in1 MONO" air-to-water heat pumps with a capacity of up to 10 kW (heating + cooling + hot water). Any heat or cooling emitters can be connected to them. Particularly suitable for this are fan coils (fancoils), including versions for installation in walls, ceilings, floors. This allows you to build a water heating and cooling system entirely inside a single premises or building.
