Natural materials, transparent fabrics, wood with visible knots and the rawness of the wall finishes create an unusual atmosphere in this interior.

Inspired by the environment

The265 m² apartment was meant to be a place of relaxation. A calm, safe haven located right by the ocean. Referring to the place, friendly and timeless. The investors entrusted the project to the Warsaw studio Studio Organic. The apartment, located on the coast, is consistent with its surroundings. The warm colors kept in light tones bring to mind sandy beaches. The structural plaster (ecomalta) covering the walls, ceiling and floor is also a reference to nature and landscape. In the living area and bedroom, the eye is drawn to the curved veneered walls, reminiscent of waves.

Soft, light, subtle

Lightness and space with an unrestricted flow of energy were key in this project. Geometric forms in the form of sofas, panels and furniture built-ins are balanced by the curves in the wooden elements: veneer wall, table, coffee table. The large ceiling plane gained lightness through a simple procedure: a mirror was used along the line of windows. To maintain purity of form, technical lighting was hidden in the suspended ceiling, making the fixtures almost invisible to the eye. Lightness and harmony were achieved not only by what is exposed, but also - by skillfully hiding some elements. The kitchen was divided by movable panels into two parts - representative and working. An organically shaped island seamlessly connects the living room and kitchen zones, making the spaces intermingle.

Play of light

The lamps in this interior have been treated like works of art. Their delicate but refined forms are an unquestionable decoration. Light and shadow create a real spectacle here, changing the face of the space. Decorative panels by the windows make a grid-like shadow draw on the floor during the day. Similarly, in the wine closet area, a "lamp" effect is created, which also casts a shadow on the ceiling and floor.
