They have many years of experience in well-known Warsaw studios. Marta has worked with Marta Czerkies Home Designer and Dorota Szelągowska Design Studio, among others. 1. For us home is..

An oasis, a place to calm down, catch distance and breathe. It is a space where we want to feel comfortable and safe. It is also a space where we surround ourselves with our favorite objects, mementos, where beautiful memories are created. It is a place we share with our closest beings. Not only people, but also animals.

2. The key to a successful interior design is...

Getting the golden mean between the needs of the investor, the spatial possibilities of the premises and ergonomics and aesthetics. It's consistency and good planning. We also always look for individual solutions tailored to the interior and consistent with the investor's needs.

3. We look for inspiration in...

Inspiration is found everywhere and it is inspiration that finds us. Sometimes it's a beautiful 200-year-old cathedral and sometimes it's an Italian market in an intimate town. Sometimes it's a movie, such as the stunning stylings of Wes Anderson, and sometimes it's classical music. We are also inspired by the work of artists, painters, sculptors. We also get many interesting ideas from travel.

4. In cooperation with the investor the most important thing is....

Conversation, understanding of needs and mutual trust. We are professionals who should show the way and support the client and here the key is to understand that our goal is to jointly create the ideal space for the investor. At the same time, in the design process, in order for it to be carried out smoothly, it is important to establish certain boundaries and respect them.

5. Our favorite design style is...

Art Déco and Mid-Century Modern, but really anything beautiful. If something is well and aesthetically designed it is interesting regardless of the style.

6. The most valuable object in our home is....

A painting painted by Anna Świtalska-Jończyk.

7. The most common mistake in self-decoration is...

Copying 1:1 and unreflectively "gluing" the interior from different inspirations

8. Our favorite material is...

Wood and stone

9. A trend we wish would pass away already is...

Scandinavian style

10. Someday, we would like to live in...

A townhouse in Italy
