Rotenso air-to-water heat pumps for the home

In terms of ecology and comfort, as well as operating costs, heat pumps win out over other available heat sources. Reputable brands like Rotenso offer devices of various designs that respond to the individual needs of small and large homeowners, minimalists and aesthetes. What are the differences between the types of popular air-to-water heat pumps?

Rotenso split heat pumps: Aquami Split, Heatmi Split

The most popular split heat pumps from Rotenso, for example: Aquami Split or Heatmi Split consist of an indoor unit i.e. a hydronic module (so-called hydrobox) and an outdoor unit. This is a solution for homes with a separate room, such as a laundry room or boiler room allowing the hydrobox and DHW tank to be adapted inside the building.

Rotenso Aquami All in Split

New are all-in-one heat pumps such as the Rotenso Aquami All in Split, which were developed in response to market needs arising from the increasingly smaller size of residential buildings. The Rotenso All in Split, like the split pump, consists of an outdoor unit and an indoor unit, the hydrobox. This one, however, in the case of the Rotenso All in split pump, is integrated with the domestic hot water (DHW) tank. The whole enclosed in a single housing creates an aesthetically pleasing and compact indoor unit, similar in appearance to a refrigerator, which the user can build into the hallway, set in the laundry room or kitchen in the vicinity of other household appliances.

Rotenso monobloc pumps: Aquami, Windmi and Airmi

Increasingly popular monobloc heat pumps are favored by minimalists, as well as by owners of buildings where there is no space to install an indoor unit. The cooling module and the hydronic module are located in a single unit housing, which is installed outside the building. As a result, we do not need additional space for the hydraulic module inside the building.

Efficient and energy-saving

The maintenance-free and environmentally friendly Rotenso split and monoblock heat pumps have the highest energy efficiency class A+++. The COP parameter, i.e. the ratio of the heating power obtained to the electricity consumed, in a word, the heating efficiency of the heat pump is about: 4.75 to 5:25. This means, the air-to-water split and monobloc heat pumps can produce about five times more heating energy in relation to the electricity consumed.

Design matters

For discerning customers, the aesthetics of equipment mounted at the facade of buildings is also increasingly important. Rotenso's answer is the new series of Airmi Split and Airmi Monoblock heat pumps, in addition to excellent performance, the devices are distinguished by design and fashionable colors of outdoor units. Broken white, gray, graphite - these are colors that harmonize with current trends in construction.
