Elephants on the facade

The flagship example of the use of Scalamid is the extremely impressive elephants, immortalized on the graphics covering the facades. They can be seen in the Lodz Zoo, at the entrance to the Orientarium, which is visited by up to 2 million people a year.

We were looking for a large-format material on which the drawing can be applied seamlessly, easy to fix, resistant to thermal conditions, and at the same time allowing us to apply lighting effects. I was previously unfamiliar with Scalamid, but was quickly convinced by the product. The final result is mind-blowing, even great," says Dorota Szlachcic (ArC2 Design Factory).

The Wielkopolska Children's Health Center is an extremely important investment, definitely improving the comfort of small patients and their parents. The center is decorated with the largest ventilated facade in Poland. - The choice of Scalamid was dictated primarily by the high quality of the material. The warranty is as much as 15 years. The main advantage of ventilated facades is that they allow the entire wall to breathe, thus reducing the risk of condensation," says Maciej Domanski, managing director of the Scalamid brand.

Shellter Hotel & Apartments in Rogów is a complex of residential and hotel buildings, whose Scalamid finish alludes to the surrounding flora. Thus, we are dealing with a peculiar combination of nature and architecture. The project was prepared by the architectural group Głębowski Studio Tomasz Głębowski. Remaining in the seaside climate, let's also mention the metamorphosis of the Best Western in Jurata. The architectural studio KM Rubaszkiewicz designed facades finished with white panels and panels in wood décor, cut in board formats. Scalamid, of course.
