Bedroom and bathrooms with gold theme|PdD

Previously, we have already presented the living room and kitchen of the design by Małgorzata and Andrzej Bacik of MM Architekci studio. Today we present the bedroom and bathrooms included in the villa.

Bedroom dusted with gold

The bedroom has a distinct design. It was painted in a darker color, which is a bleached taupe. The 180 cm wide bed stood against a background of fluted stucco panels. Light curtains and fleshy drapes hung in the windows. The curtains repeat the color of the walls. In the bedroom, as in the rest of the house, you will find golden elements. Here they take the form of lamps, furniture handles and legs, and a striking painting. "Portrait in a Golden Dress" is a com-position by Joanna Sarapata. When it turned out that the original was already sold, the decision was made to order an art print. This is a high-quality print enhanced with metal flakes, which, especially when viewed live, provide a unique visual effect. The subdued base is also broken by darker accessories in the form of a navy blue upholstered bed headboard and a cabinet with a fluted front in the same color.

Bathroom with an automotive touch

The main bathroom is located next to the owners' bedroom. It contains both a free-standing bathtub and a shower. There are also two comfortable washbasins, and underneath them a capacious cabinet covered with BMW car paint. It is to this finish that the furniture owes its unique metallic sheen. The walls and floor are tiled with a delicate marble pattern. A large mirror occupying the entire width of the wall optically enlarges the space. Just below it are fine tiles in powder pink, which form a herringbone pattern.

In art déco style

In the smaller bathroom we also find tiles with a marble motif, but this time it has a much more expressive pattern. The arrangement is complemented by a stylized line of ceramics and lamps, which bring to mind historical design. As in other rooms, you will also find a lot of gold elements here. The dominance of white, black and gold is broken by a capacious cabinet in sage color.
