Neolith Essentials - a series of ultra-hygienic surfaces for the home and catering industry

01 of June '21

Health, safety and environmental awareness have become firmly established in our daily lives. The current global situation has increased the public's commitment to environmental protection and concern for exposure to biological agents such as bacteria, while also contributing to an increased special interest in well-being, cleanliness and aesthetic qualities. There has thus been a paradigm shift in which the selection of materials for daily use becomes essential to improving the quality of life. Guided and inspired by the core values of Neolith®, the brand is introducing a series of products for 2021: ESSENTIALS.

IDEA

In the home, restaurant or commercial establishment - Neolith® ESSENTIALS illustrates the Neolith® brand's delivery of this essential, balancing form and function within an ultra-hygienic surface characterized by pristine cleanliness and timeless aesthetics. Because today's society demands more than ever before, striving for excellence, protection and the integrity of that which is indispensable - the inner self.

VALUES

ENVIRONMENTAL

The Neolith® brand demonstrates a high level of social awareness and commitment to respecting and protecting the environment, with a number of important environmental initiatives. Over the past few months, various environmentally-oriented projects have been initiated, such as a reforestation campaign in which hundreds of trees have been planted in various regions in Africa and South America. A project has also been developed to protect and preserve Guatemala's unique coastal biodiversity.

Keen to maintain and deepen its commitment to the environment, Neolith® is now introducing a new composition of the surfaces it offers, including up to 90% recycled materials for some models of the ESSENTIALS series; it should also be remembered that the panel production process is carried out under carbon neutral conditions. All of this perfectly illustrates the brand's commitment to environmental protection.

HEAL

Due to its unique technical properties, such as near-zero porosity and resistance to many strong cleaning preparations, Neolith® is an ultra-hygienic, low-maintenance surface that is ideal for use in both home and professional kitchens.

With the ESSENTIALS series, the Neolith® brand aims to offer a higher level of food hygiene and safety for those who use its surfaces on a daily basis. To this end, four new models feature new technology against certain types of harmful bacteria, such as Listeria, which can pose a significant health risk when performing essential food preparation tasks.

EXPERIENCE

An integral part of the Neolith® brand DNA. It is important to emphasize the brand's commitment and high requirements for the highest quality and meeting the most stringent standards during the production of all surfaces offered. From the sourcing of raw materials and the delicacy of design to carbon neutral production.

The ESSENTIALS series illustrates the brand's constant appetite for innovation, using avant-garde technologies and processes to achieve the best results in terms of composition, quality and aesthetics of the surfaces developed.

Exuding tranquility and full of centuries-old secrets, the karst of Shilin, also known as the "Stone Forest," invariably inspires both the local community and visitors to the area. The name of the new model in the ESSENTIALS series refers to the unique geology of this natural wonder, which can be seen in China's Yunnan Province.

Following the pattern of limestone with a light background and fine, grainy details, the Shilin model provides a subtle and timeless character to all kinds of spaces and applications, both indoor and outdoor. The slab's serene aesthetic features a unique texture that further enhances the material's natural qualities.

Also new is the use of NeoIEAT technology in the Shilin model to ensure the highest level of food hygiene and safety by preventing the growth and multiplication of harmful bacteria such as Listeria and Salmonella.

The model is available in Slate finish, in a thickness of 6 mm for the 3200×1500 mm format, and 12 and 20 mm for the 3200×1600 mm format.
