Neolith facades - technically perfect, architecturally beautiful

24 of July '25

from the series "Facade and wall materials - trends 2025"

When architecture goes beyond convention - experimenting with form, scale and material expression - it demands more from every element that makes it up. In this context, a facade becomes more than just a border. It becomes a canvas, a layer of performance and a testament to the building's identity. The material that addresses this challenge is the revolutionary sintered stone surface from Neolith.

Designed using intense heat and pressure, with natural raw materials. Combines exceptional durability with elegant design versatility, meeting the demands of high-performance construction.

Durable and inspiring

Neolith is a surface that is both durable and beautiful. Designed to withstand the harshest conditions, offering a wide range of hyper-realistic finishes and textures that replicate the natural beauty of stone, wood, metal and concrete.

It is resistant to UV rays, extreme heat and frost, stains, scratches and even graffiti. It's a non-porous, hygienic and low-maintenance material, making it suitable for both public infrastructure and private homes. Durability, however, does not come at the expense of design.

Neolith, produced in large-format panels of up to 5 square meters and thicknesses from 3 to 20 millimeters, allows designers to minimize the number of joints. Providing visual continuity of facades, interiors and transition zones. Some collections also include Bookmatched patterns, reproducing the mirror effect of cut marble, while "Reverse" formats further enhance creative freedom.

Material adapted to changing trends in facade design

Leading trends reflect a shift toward minimalism, with clean lines, uninterrupted surfaces and restrained palettes that emphasize purity of form.

Neolith's large-format panels, subtle finishes, and ability to be installed in a single plane with a minimum number of joints directly address these design preferences.

A solution ideal for changing climate requirements

Neolith surfaces are ideal for any climate zone. Whether it's scorching sun or severe frost, its performance remains stable and uncompromised.

When used in ventilated facade systems, where not only the visual layer is important, it also supports the energy efficiency of the building. By allowing air to flow between the cladding and the structural wall, the system reduces thermal bridges, improves insulation and prevents moisture buildup. The result? A building envelope that breathes, protects and is durable - maintaining both function and form over time.

Flexible and perfectly adapted to the building geometry

In a world of increasingly complex forms and volumes, materials must be precisely matched and integrated. Neolith's unique composition provides this balance. It is light enough to be easily transported. At the same time, it is strong enough to remain stable, even in the most geometrically demanding installations.

Its large format allows for the creation of extensive, continuous surfaces, while smaller sections can be cut and joined with equal ease. This adaptability extends to the entire spectrum of applications: exterior facades, soffits, columns and interiors.

Neolith's technical team works closely with architects to plan the layout and installation methods, optimizing material usage, reducing waste and ensuring precision workmanship. This proactive engagement allows for faster installation, more efficient construction schedules and a cleaner end result to achieve exceptional results, both functionally and visually.

Innovative installation systems

The brand has developed a number of proprietary installation systems, all of which deliver performance, aesthetics and safety, regardless of the size or location of the project.

Prominent among these is StrongFix. This concealed blended fastening system combines mechanical and chemical anchoring. Using compression to securely hold each panel in place from behind. It is invisible from the outside. Each panel is reinforced with fiberglass mesh to improve passive safety. Pre-installed aluminum rails reduce installation time and labor. Once installed, the panels are placed on the J-rails, aligned and fastened - quickly, safely and efficiently.

For projects where visible fastening is required or preferred, Neolith offers the VM System. A self-supporting structure that uses metal brackets, profiles and clips to secure panels in place. Its modularity makes it ideal for panels of different sizes and thicknesses.

The HC system offers a hidden chemical solution, using a flexible adhesive to bond the panels to the vertical profiles. Its Slim version - HC Slim - is ideal for interior applications, requiring only 22 mm of installation depth while providing a clean, elegant finish.

For thicker panels, the HU system offers a fully mechanical solution that works with 12- or 20-mm-thick panels, with additional fiberglass mesh for extra protection against impact or detachment. Regardless of the system used, maximum performance is assured without compromising visual quality.

Designed with sustainability in mind

In today's building environment, environmental responsibility is important in addition to aesthetics.

Every surface of Neolith materials contains no resins, plastics or quartz. Made entirely of natural minerals and clay, Neolith is fully recyclable. The company operates on a closed-loop economy model, recycling all process water and reusing more than 96% of industrial waste - as certified by Zero Waste.

The energy used during production comes from certified renewable sources, including energy generated on-site by the company's own solar power plant. The result is a product that sets a global standard for sustainability.

What really sets Neolith apart is its adaptability - not only to climate or structure, but also to the creative vision of each project. Architects don't just choose surfaces; they engage with a partner capable of developing customized solutions.

From public buildings to boutique hotels, from cultural institutions to private homes. Neolith offers design freedom, enabling bold ideas to be realized.

The material's durability makes it ideal for high-traffic areas, while sophisticated finish options allow designers to create spaces that are intimate, crisp and precise. With Neolith, surfaces are not just covered - they are selected.

In a rapidly changing architectural landscape, Neolith offers something rare: a material that balances heritage and innovation, technical mastery and aesthetic depth.

Neolith is a design platform that responds to the world we live in and the future we are building.
